Textile businessmen urged government to cancel implementation of ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on textile products. The reason is that the agreement is only beneficial for the partner country.

The textile businessmen asked government to appeal to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on the dumping accusation by Turkey. Turkey government has applied antidumping duty against the textile product of rayon and Indonesia is one of the accused countries. Turkey accused four companies from Indonesia since 12 January 2009 and applied antidumping duty as of 12 January 2009.
