National Textile Industry Potential to Raise Trade Surplus

The domestic textile industry is buying a surplus of 5 billion US dollars until the end of 2017. Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association Ade Sudrajat said the target was increased from 2016's achievement of only 4.6 billion US dollars.

Government Will Limit Imports of Textiles

Challenges that hamper investment growth in the textile and textile products (TPT) sector, namely the import of fabric. Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) took the Ministry of Trade to restrict textile imports in order to keep the domestic textile industry still growing.
