We should be proud to have Batik. Recognized the world after the United Nations agency that is patented by UNESCO. But remember folks!!. Indonesia Batik pride import dependency of raw materials from the U.S., Australia and Bangladesh. Without imports from the three countries. So in the future, if you want to succeed, the raw material is to be prepared by the Ministry of Industry.

"Carrying 90% of raw materials such as cotton batik and silk fabrics were imported, while the raw materials gondorukem actually exported to several countries," said the Director General (DG) Small and Medium Industries (SMI), Euis Saedah.

Yet according Euis, Indonesian batik products have a large market in neighboring Malaysia. "Batik exports to Malaysia every year to reach U.S. $ 1 billion and tastes very dynamic market. This proves batik products from Indonesia has a high added value, "he explained.

Batik industrial production growth, continued Euis, encouraged by government policy to use batik as the official uniform for the government and private sectors.

"The government hopes that the batik can continue to explore and innovate batik displays characteristics of each region without leaving the natural use of color is increasingly preferred by consumers at home and abroad," he said.

Batik Tergantung Bahan Baku Impor

Kita boleh bangga punya Batik. Diakui dunia setelah dipatenkan oleh badan PBB yakni UNESCO. Tapi ingat kawan!!.
