The industrial sector should be the life of the national economy. In fact, the national industry has yet to demonstrate that encourages economic growth in Indonesia. Director of the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) Enny Sri Hartati said, was the development of national industry due to the mindset of employers who prefer to become a trader (trader) rather than industry.

In fact, the amount of import of raw materials in the industrial sector reached 70 percent of the national total. Imports of raw materials are expected to boost the domestic industry.

Unfortunately, until now there was no significant change in the industrial sector in the country.

According Enny, there is a mistake qualification of import of raw goods and household consumption so that the industrial sector is not growing. "If a permit issued by the manufacturer will reduce moral hazard," he added.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Trade (Ministry of Trade) Rachmat Gobel ambitious to make Indonesia its production base. It was to reduce dependence on imports.

Most importantly, further Rachmat change of mindset in the direction of the industry must be done. "This country should be industrialized countries do not traders," he said

Rubah pola pikir: Jadilah Negara Industri, jangan hanya jadi pedagang

Direktur Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef) Enny Sri Hartati mengatakan, tak berkembangnya industri nasional karena pola pikir pengusaha yang lebih memilih menjadi pedagang (trader) bukan pelaku industri.
