Textile entrepreneur has long been voiced demand for lower interest rates to single digit levels. Competitor countries such as Malaysia and Thailand have long been of interest to apply the single digits. Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudrajat said, so Indonesia should do the same thing if he wants to win the global competition.

"In the end the how we can compete globally and not be a whiz in the country only. So, if you want decrease interest rates ,do as soon as possible because we are face to face with the enemy, while our limited weapons, "he said.

Ade expect the lending rate could drop to 8%.

Accordingly, the government is expected to manage the inflation rate so well that the effort to lower interest rates to single digit can be realized. In addition to improving competitiveness, said Ade, a decrease in interest rates would also stimulate the business climate and reduce the burden of interest repayments society which is quite burdensome.

Thus, the production and consumption will be increasingly stretched. "Both are to be grown," he said.

Suku Bunga Pinjaman versi Pengusaha Tekstil Idealnya 8%
