Indonesian Textile Association (API) said, a lot of activity the import of textiles and textile products (TPT) is not in accordance with the applicable rules. Supposedly, according to Ade, imports of textiles made to produce products that are then exported. Case, the imported products are in fact sold domestically.

"Imports of textiles are now in the spotlight is, in textile imports in the bonded area. Many of the activities in the textile imports has violated the provisions of the bonded area, "said Chairman of API, Ade Sudrajat.

"Ease of textile imports in bonded zones arranged in PMK No. 176/2013 on the ease of import export (KITE). Within the program, the government will allow the import of goods to be produced again in the country with the aim of at least 50% of export, but the ease of such imports a lot of distorted, to the detriment of domestic industry, "he said.

Currently, more Ade, many importers actually do import and sell such products in the country more than it exports.

"The characteristics of imported textile products are among others, the product is often called residual products exports. KITE due to misuse of the products imported to erode the market share of the domestic textile industry, "he said.

Ade hoped that the government would revise the rules about KITE so that the domestic textile market back alive.

Banyak Aktivitas Impor Tekstil Tidak Sesuai Aturan
