The textile industry in West Java urged the government to find solutions related to the cessation of coal loading and unloading activities in the port of Cirebon. Moreover, the stock of coal owned Priangan industry in the country today, is called thinning. Textile Businessman Need Solutions For Unloading Coal

Secretary of the Indonesian Textile Association (API), West Java Kevin Hartanto said the industry does not have a stock of coal, will experience substantial losses. Activities textile industry and textile products (TPT) even threatened paralyzed by the policy.

"The government needs to look at, if the Port of Cirebon closed would be transferred to where? We deplore the ministry, mayor of Cirebon, and other stakeholders, if you do not have an alternative solution for the loading and unloading, "he told

Kevin mentioned most of the textile industry in West Java is currently still using the stock of coal remaining stock increasingly limited. "Now there is no effect because of the new closed, but the future of how the textile industry can survive?"

API West Java revealed the planned closure of the Port of Cirebon has surfaced since last year. In fact, the API has been communicating with the relevant ministries so that the closure is not done.

"We've spoken several times to the government but to no effect. The steps we take completely ignored for reasons that are not clear, "he said.

Kevin confirms closure of coal loading and unloading activities in the port of Cirebon is a testament to the weakness of the government can not solve problems or friction between the interests of industry and society.

Cirebon port officially closed for coal loading and unloading activities on Saturday (03/26/2016), according to the letter issued by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation No.PF.001 / 1/16 / PJPL-2016.

In a letter dated March 11, 2016, Kesyahbandaran Office and Port Authority (KSOP) Cirebon ordered to suspend activities of loading and coal, until the requirements are met environmental permitting PT Pelindo II Port of Cirebon.

Basic issuance of such termination are mentioned for their letter from the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to the Ministry of Transportation by letter No.S.145 / Secretariat / roum / SET.1 / 2/2016 dated February 5, 2016.

Pengusaha Tekstil Meminta Solusi Untuk Bongkar Muat Batu Bara
