Nigeria Interested Textiles Product from Indonesia PDF Print E-mail

Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Lagos, Nigeria was able to record as many potential deals USD2,98 million in Indonesia Solo Exhibition (ISE) 2016. This value is derived from the total quantity of 54 containers of some products and companies. Nigeria Interested Textiles Product from Indonesia


"ISE be the event producer from Indonesia to the buyer of Nigeria and the West African region. ISE is very effective as a means of product promotion and Indonesia's main commodities export-oriented," said Head of ITPC Lagos, Nino Wawan Setiawan


ISE 2016 was held 5-7 April 2016 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria. A total of 10 Indonesian companies that come directly from Indonesia and 19 Indonesian companies that are already in Nigeria from various production sectors participated.


Exhibitors to promote their products in several ways. First, display product which is usually done by companies whose products have not been marketed in Nigeria to look for importers and distributors. Second, free sampling to build product awareness by companies whose products have been circulating in Nigeria.


"Third, direct retail by a company whose products are circulated in Nigeria and exhibiting products that do not require special registration, such as textiles and jewelry. How to direct sales has resulted in NGN 1.5 million from the sale of batik, instant noodles, jewelry, crafts, as well as food and beverages, "said Nino.


Solo exhibition initiated by ITPC Lagos is fully supported by the Directorate General of Export Development (PEN) Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). In addition to the exhibit, ITPC Lagos also held a business meeting on 6 April 2016, which was attended by 100 people from various Chamber of Commerce and a potential buyer in Nigeria.


"TPC Lagos facilitate exhibitors who came directly from Jakarta to visit a local market survey in Lagos and further meetings with potential buyers gained during ISE 2016 progresses," said Nino.


Nigeria Tertarik Dengan Produk Tekstil Indonesia


Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Lagos, Nigeria mampu mencatat transaksi potensial sebanyak USD2,98 juta dalam Indonesia Solo Exhibition (ISE) 2016. Nilai tersebut didapat dari total quantity sebanyak 54 kontainer dari beberapa produk dan perusahaan.


"ISE menjadi ajang pertemuan produsen asal Indonesia dengan buyer asal Nigeria dan kawasan Afrika Barat. ISE sangat efektif sebagai sarana promosi produk dan komoditas unggulan Indonesia yang berorientasi ekspor," kata Kepala ITPC Lagos, Nino Wawan Setiawan dalam keterangan tertulis, Jakarta, Rabu (20/4/2016).


ISE 2016 diselenggarakan pada 5-7 April 2016 di Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria. Sebanyak 10 perusahaan Indonesia yang datang langsung dari Indonesia dan 19 perusahaan Indonesia yang sudah di Nigeria dari berbagai sektor produksi turut berpartisipasi.


Peserta pameran mempromosikan produknya dengan beberapa cara. Pertama, display product yang biasanya dilakukan oleh perusahaan yang produknya belum dipasarkan di Nigeria untuk mencari importir dan distributor. Kedua, free sampling untuk membangun product awareness oleh perusahaan yang produknya sudah beredar di Nigeria.


"Ketiga, direct retail oleh perusahaan yang produknya sudah beredar di Nigeria dan yang memamerkan produk yang tidak memerlukan registrasi khusus, seperti tekstil dan perhiasan. Cara penjualan langsung tersebut telah menghasilkan NGN 1,5 juta dari penjualan batik, mi instan, perhiasan, kerajinan, serta makanan dan minuman ringan," imbuh Nino.


Pameran tunggal yang diinisiasi oleh ITPC Lagos ini didukung sepenuhnya oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional (PEN) Kementerian Perdagangan beserta Kementerian Luar Negeri dan Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM). Selain pameran, ITPC Lagos juga mengadakan business meeting pada 6 April 2016 yang dihadiri oleh 100 orang yang berasal dari berbagai Kadin dan buyer potensial yang ada di Nigeria.


"TPC Lagos memfasilitasi peserta pameran yang datang langsung dari Jakarta untuk melakukan kunjungan survei pasar lokal di Lagos dan pertemuan lebih lanjut dengan para buyer potensial yang didapat selama ISE 2016 berlangsung," pungkas Nino.
