Textiles and textile products (TPT) national still constrained by a number of classical problems, either in the form of higher electricity costs up to the invasion of imported apparel products are much more competitive than local products. Textile Industry Needs Way Into Global Markets

 

 

Later players in this industry were shocked by the increasing prestige of Vietnam as one of the major players in the textile business world, and entered the top three apparel exporting countries to the EU countries and the United States.

 

This condition will push the market share that was previously owned by Indonesia increasingly shrink.

 

And the key to the success of Vietnam is that the country is willing to open up faster to get involved and establish free trade agreements with the country's largest market in the world.

 

Vietnam did not hesitate to establish free trade agreements with the EU, and is now ready to enter the US market more freely, with its readiness to join the trade bloc Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).

 

Indonesia is much earlier dabbling in this industry should be more enjoy a large niche market in the European Union and the United States.

 

Unfortunately, so far the perpetrators in this industry has not been maximized enter the market, as there is still the establishment of a cooperation agreement either trade or free trade with the European Union and the United States.

 

It is interesting to review how important the opening or establishment of a free trade agreement with the market in the last two continents for the national textile industry. In addition it should also be known how much the problems that still convolute the labor-intensive industry nan.

 


 

 

Industri Tekstil Membutuhkan Jalan Ke Pasar Global

 

 

Industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) nasional masih terkungkung oleh sejumlah persoalan klasik, baik berupa tingginya biaya listrik hingga serbuan produk pakaian jadi impor yang jauh lebih kompetitif dibanding produk lokal.

 

Belakangan para pelaku industri ini dikejutkan oleh makin meningkatnya pamor Vietnam sebagai salah satu pemain besar di bisnis TPT dunia, dan masuk dalam tiga besar negara pengekspor pakaian jadi untuk pasar Uni Eropa dan Amerika Serikat.

 

Kondisi ini jelas akan mendorong penguasaan pangsa pasar yang sebelumnya dimiliki oleh Indonesia semakin mengkerut.

 

Dan kunci keberhasilan dari Vietnam adalah, negara ini mau membuka diri lebih cepat untuk terlibat dan menjalin kerja sama perdagangan bebas dengan negara pasar terbesar di dunia.

 

Vietnam tak segan untuk menjalin kerja sama perdagangan bebas dengan Uni Eropa, dan kini siap masuk ke pasar Amerika Serikat lebih leluasa, dengan kesiapannya bergabung dalam blok perdagangan Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).

 

Indonesia yang jauh lebih awal berkecimpung di industri ini seharusnya bisa lebih banyak menikmati besarnya ceruk pasar di Uni Eropa dan Amerika Serikat.

 

Sayangnya sejauh ini para pelaku di industri ini belum bisa maksimal masuk ke pasar tersebut, karena masih belum terjalinnya perjanjian kerja sama perdagangan ataupun perdagangan bebas baik dengan Uni Eropa maupun Amerika Serikat.

 

Menarik untuk mengulas seberapa penting terbukanya atau terjalinnya perjanjian perdagangan bebas dengan pasar di dua benua tadi bagi industri TPT nasional. Selain itu perlu juga diketahui seberapa besar persoalan yang masih membelit industri nan padat karya tersebut.
