The minister is optimistic that the global market will continue to improve the textile industry followed by a rise in demand. For that, there are opportunities that can be utilized as best as possible by continuing to increase the competitiveness and expansion into non-traditional markets.

Another thing that is important, said Minister of Industry, the potential of the domestic market should be maintained. "As the country with the fourth largest number of people in the world and per capita income levels continue to rise, will be a potential market for the national textile industry," he explained as he expects the textile industry to introduce more diligent branding Indonesia.

The minister said that the national industrial products can be more competitive in the global market, among others, must have a good quality, meet product standards that ensure the health, safety, and security for users as well as safe for the environment. Even the price is also competitive and acceptable to the market.

"To achieve competitiveness, it takes the involvement of all elements of both central and local governments, as well as all relevant stakeholders, including the business community and associations," he said.

Furthermore, industry minister added that the government has issued various package of measures to boost economic growth and national industries, among others deregulation by cutting the various regulatory, licensing and bureaucracy are still felt to hamper at the various ministries and agencies.

In addition, draw up regulations regarding the remuneration system to ensure certainty in the wage system, the decline in gas prices, discounts and delays in payment of utility bills for the industry. Tenaga Kerja Yang Diserap TPT 1,5 Juta Orang
