Terror textile waste in Bengawan Solo reappeared. These conditions make the Ngawi residents along the river was worried. Because the water of the river is also used to irrigate the fields and a shower. Cause of  waste is also the same as last year, ie from one textile factory in Central Java. '' The color of the water changed, somewhat blackened, '' said one resident Sutarji Sriwedari, Karanganyar, Ngawi yesterday (11/5).

He said that, on certain days later had a change of color. He also said he was worried if there is no treatment for the condition can make people re-racked. Therefore, the impact of contamination are diverse. Like itching due to move in the river. She revealed, did local residents often use the water for bathing and washing clothes. Most also were digging in the sand and pebbles in a river. '' Usually when dry, but this is starting to look, '' he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Environment (MOE) Ngawi Sudirman said that if it had not monitored the condition of the river. But soon conduct field monitoring.

‘’Warna airnya berubah, agak menghitam,’’ ujar Sutarji salah seorang warga Sriwedari, Karanganyar, Ngawi kemarin (11/5).
