The Ministry of Industry predicts demand for industrial products Textile and textile products (TPT) in the country tends to increase in the period from June to July 2016 in line with the customs of the people buying clothes before Lebaran. "Domestic demand is expected to increase, especially with the moment of Ramadan and Eid 2016, as well as the improvement of the national economy," said Director General of Chemical Industry, Textile and Miscellaneous Industry Ministry Harjanto.

The Ministry of Industry was also optimistic about the national economic growth in 2016 has the potential to improve and is expected to reach 5.2 to 5.6 percent (year on year), or higher than the previous year growth of 4.79 percent.

This is primarily driven acceleration of stimulus fiscal and non-fiscal through several economic policy package issued by the government.

"Economic growth is also driven strongly by the processing industry with a contribution of 20.8 percent in the first quarter 2016," said Harjanto. In fact, he said, the processing industry is also the largest contributor to exports with a contribution of 85.76 percent of the total national exports.

In addition, total industrial exports continued to increase, which in April 2016 reached US $ 10.17 billion, an increase of 4.27 percent compared with the same period the previous year (year on year) amounted to US $ 9.76 billion.

Menghadapi Lebaran Produk Tekstil Diperkirakan Naik
