Efforts continue to increase the smuggling of used clothing. Over the last five months of Customs and Excise officers patrol secures 6814 balle used clothing. Director General of Customs and Excise Heru Pamungkas disclose related enforcement efforts of second-hand clothes it several times met with resistance from the mafia of smugglers.

"Mafia smugglers used clothing always carry or involve ordinary people as a shield against the officers. They are equipped with Molotov bombs and weapons, "said Heru.

If compared to 2015 there was an increase in the smuggling of used clothing is significant. For example in 2014 BC smuggling balpress capture as much as 2,563 bales, then 2015 and 2016 bales sebanyak5.938 these five months sudah6.814 bales of used clothes were secured from smuggling mafia. Penyelundupan Pakaian Bekas Meningkat

 

 

Upaya penyelundupan pakaian bekas terus meningkat. Selama lima bulan terakhir ini petugas patrol Bea dan Cukai mengamankan 6.814 balle pakaian bekas. Dirjen Bea dan Cukai Heru Pambudi mengungkapkan terkait upaya penindakan pakaian bekas tersebut pihaknya beberapa kali mendapatkan perlawanan dari mafia penyelundup.

 

Contohnya seperti yang terjadi pada Selasa lalu (7/6) di peraian Selat Malaka kapal patroli Bea Cukai dihadang tiga kapal penyelundup dan melempari dengan sejumlah bom Molotov dan parang menyerang petugas.

 

“Mafia penyelundup pakaian bekas ini selalu membawa atau mengikutsertakan masyarakat biasa sebagai tameng untuk melawan petugas. Mereka dilengkapi dengan bom Molotov dan senjata tajam,” jelas Heru.

 

Namun tegas Dirjen Bea dan Cukai, hal itu tidak membuat gentar anak buahnya dan pihaknya akan terus melakukan penindakan hukum baik di darat, laut maupun udara.

 

Lebih lanjut Heru mengatakan, sebagai bukti keseriusan melindungi industri tekstil dan produk tekstil, pihaknya menggelar patroli laut gabungan. Dengan nama sandi Operasi Gerhana. Selain itu juga ada Operasi Batik.

 

PERKETAT

 

Dalam operasi tersebut Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai memperketat pengawasan serta penindakan sebagai upaya melindungi industri tekstil dan produk tekstil dalam negeri.

 

Jika dibandingkan tahun 2015 ada peningkatan penyelundupan pakaian bekas cukup signifikan. Misalnya tahun 2014 BC menangkap penyelundupan balpress sebanyak 2.563 bales, kemudian tahun 2015 sebanyak5.938 bales dan tahun 2016 selama lima bulan ini sudah6.814 bales pakain bekas yang diamankan dari mafia penyelundupan.“Satu balpress setara dengan seribu baju, celana atau pakain,” ujar Heru.

 

Sedangkan untuk penyelundupan semua jenis tekstil lainnya, pihak Ditjen BC hingga saat ini mencapai 216kasus.

 

Sementara itu, para pengusaha yang tergabung dalam Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia, Asosiasi Persepatuan Indonesia dan Asosiasi Produsen Serat dan Benang Filamen Indonesia, mengapresiasi penindakan yang dilakukan Bea Cukai. Sebab hal tersebut akan melindungi industri di dalam negri.

 

“Apa yang dilakukan Bea Cukai sangat terasa hasilnya. Kami mengapresiasi hal tersebut,” ujar Ketua Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia Benny Sutrisno kemarin didampingi para ketua asosiasi lainnya.
