Cikarang Dry Port Supports Textile Business PDF Print E-mail

The existence of Bonded Logistics Center in Cikarang makes domestic textile industry just needs to provide warehousing between 20-30 percent of the total demand of textile raw material supply. Businessman textiles also no longer need to provide additional warehousing.

"The company does not require warehousing of finished textiles as much as before," said Ade Sudrajat Usman, Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) recently.

 

 

Moreover, Bonded Logistics Center Cikarang Dry Port also could provide a stock of cotton from neighboring countries, such as Malaysia. This activity has been going on since the first quarter of this year.

 

According to Benny Woernadi, Managing Director Cikarang Inland Port (PT Cikarang Gate Technology), manager of Cikarang Dry Port, cotton import logistics costs can be reduced because it is already moving cotton warehouse in Malaysia to Bonded Logistics Center Cikarang Dry Port.

 

Bonded logistics center Cikarang Dry Port itself, according to Benny in a written statement on Friday (06/10/2016), was able to import.

 

 

Of the total imports, 30 percent come from a warehouse in Malaysia. While 10 percent of the domestic retailers.

 

Seeing the positive response of the market, management Cikarang Dry Port plans to add a second warehouse Bonded Logistics Center is expected to be completed at the end of this year.

 

Based on the record, Cikarang Dry Port area which has an area of ​​four hectares (ha) and will occupy an area of ​​8 ha.

 

According Muljadi Suganda, Corporate Secretary of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk, the company is planning to develop Cikarang Dry Port.

In addition to adding the warehouse, it also plans to make the container yard area along the railroad tracks in Cikarang Dry Port.

The pace of expansion is considering the company needs to do business growth Cikarang Dry Port is already 20-30 percent per year.

 

Last year, revenue from this business contributed Rp 120 billion to spend KIJA.

 

 

CIkarang Dry Port Mendukung Bisnis Tekstil

 

 

Keberadaan Pusat Logistik Berikat di Cikarang tersebut membuat industri tekstil domestik cuma perlu menyediakan pergudangan antara 20-30 persen dari total kebutuhan pasokan bahan baku tekstil.

Pebisnis tekstil juga tidak lagi perlu menyediakan pergudangan tambahan.

 

 

Kehadiran Pusat Logistik Berikat (PBL) di Cikarang Dry Port membawa berkah bagi pebisnis tekstil domestik.Pusat logistik yang mulai beroperasi tahun ini menjadi pusat logistik bagi produk kapas atau katun. Beban logistik dari pebisnis tekstil menjadi susut.

 

“Perusahaan tekstil jadi tidak memerlukan pergudangan sebanyak dulu,” kata Ade Sudrajat Usman, Ketua Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API) baru-baru ini.

 

 

Apalagi Pusat Logistik Berikat Cikarang Dry Port juga bisa menyediakan stok kapas dari negara tetangga, seperti Malaysia. Kegiatan ini sudah berlangsung sejak kuartal satu tahun ini.

 

Menurut Benny Woernadi, Managing Director Cikarang Inland Port (PT Gerbang Teknologi Cikarang), pengelola Cikarang Dry Port, biaya logistik importasi kapas bisa ditekan lantaran pihaknya sudah memindahkan gudang kapas yang ada di Malaysia ke Pusat Logistik Berikat Cikarang Dry Port.

 

Pusat logistik berikat Cikarang Dry Port sendiri, menurut Benny dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Jumat (10/6/2016), sudah bisa melakukan impor.

 

Dari total logistik yang dikirim ke Cikarang, sekitar 60 persen impor.

 

Dari total impor itu, sebanyak 30 persen berasal dari gudang di Malaysia. Sedangkan 10 persen dari para retailer domestik.

 

Melihat respons positif pasar, manajemen Cikarang Dry Port berencana menambah gudang Pusat Logistik Berikat kedua yang diharapkan rampung di akhir tahun ini.

 

Berdasar catatan, area Cikarang Dry Port yang akan dibangun memiliki luas empat hektare (ha) dan akan menempati lahan seluas 8 ha.

 

Menurut Muljadi Suganda, Sekretaris Perusahaan PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk, perusahaan ini berencana mengembangkan Cikarang Dry Port.

Selain menambah gudang, pihaknya juga berencana membuat areal lapangan kontainer di sepanjang rel kereta api di Cikarang Dry Port.

 

Transportasi utama kontainer dari Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok menuju Cikarang Dry Port menggunakan jalur kereta api.

 

Langkah ekspansi perlu dilakukan perusahaan ini mengingat pertumbuhan bisnis Cikarang Dry Port sudah 20-30 persen per tahunnya.

 

Tahun lalu, pendapatan dari usaha ini berkontribusi Rp 120 miliar ke kocek KIJA.
