Minister of Industry (Industry) Saleh Husin said the global economy is in the doldrums affecting the growth of the national textile industry. Therefore, the government continues to undertake policy measures to encourage domestic industries to compete with imported products flooding the domestic market.

"As we know, the textile industry in the past two years is somewhat stagnant because of the global economic situation is difficult," he said during a visit to the manufacturer brocade PT Sinar Para Taruna in Bandung, West Java.

But of course, clearly Saleh, to achieve this, the government can not move on its own, but must together with entrepreneurs.

"Of course we are shoulder to shoulder with business people to get to it," he said.

Nevertheless recognized, although Indonesia stagnant industrial growth, but still good enough if the appeal of other countries in Europe.

In 2015, the national textile industry recorded a growth of 5.26%, and in 2016 the target can be optimized to reach 5.7%.

He gave appreciation to PT Sinar The cadets who contribute to the growth of the textile industry, but he hopes the company continues to carry out new innovations.

PT Sinar The cadets began in 1989 and occupies an area of the factory in West Bandung regency since 1993.

The company currently has two plants with a total staff of about 1,500 people.

Industri Tekstil Sudah 2 Tahun Stagnan
