The impact of the rise of the former textile sales according to Director of Textile, Leather, Footwear, and Arts, Ministry of Industry, Muhdori asserted, the rampant sale of used textiles in particular on Eid last week did not automatically erode or even threaten the existence of the domestic textile industry. Because, in terms of quality and price offered by local production of textiles is still superior and able to compete with imported products especially worn textile.

"I think the impact is not too significant. Even if there is at least the percentage is not more than 30 per cent. And that's limited in some regions, especially the border areas were indeed many rat lines that allow textile illegal entry. "

Muhdori explained, the real presence of the former textile was illegal because it was not allowed to enter the country. Unfortunately, with an area of archipelagic Indonesia is so difficult to monitor and track access many rats make this product still seeping into the country.

"I think the impact is not too significant. Even if there is at least the percentage is not more than 30 per cent. And that's limited in some regions, especially the border areas were indeed many rat lines that allow textile illegal entry, "said Muhdori, at the Ministry of Industry.

However, he said, its presence tdaik so great influence, both in terms of quality, quantity and price offered. "It is cheap, but the new clothing was better than second-hand clothes. And Indonesia is increasingly critical and textiles able to sort of good quality and not. "

He acknowledged, still high prices of textiles in the country because there are a number of components such as raw materials as well as natural, rayon as textile raw materials are still imported. For that, said Muhdori, the government continues to provide incentives and facilities for the industry in the country in order to remain competitive.

Moreover, the supply of energy in the form of gas also determine the competitiveness of this industry in local and global markets. "It is still difficult for the heck we gases. However, it continues to be pursued so that the price can be lowered at least not too high compared to our competitors, especially in Asean. "

Ministry of Industry itself, he said, continues with policies such as the provision of relief in the restructuring of the machine which has been disbursed. "It's not absorbed all of the budget that we spend. Hence, the future of this restructuring aid will be more varied in nature. If during this focus to machining, the future could be for other purposes. Tailored to the needs of the industry itself. Not also just textiles, but can also shoes and more. "

Impor Tekstil Bekas Tidak Berdampak
