Indonesian Textile Association (API) asked the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) industry include the textile as a priority over the allocation and utilization as well as the price of natural gas. Indonesian Textile Association (API) asked the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) industry include the textile as a priority over the allocation and utilization as well as the price of natural gas.

Because, in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No.06 2016, the textile industry is not included in the priority industries as well as the allocation and utilization of natural gas price.

"We will ask the EMR to enter the textile industry as well. Once read, was the textile does not exist, but the gas is also useful to textiles," said Benny Soetrisno API Advisory Board, the Ministry of Industry

Gas, said Benny, in the textile industry for fiber processing. Textile fibers that nearly 60 percent of yarn materials, requires approximately 20 percent gas to process them. "Later, I propose that input. It's also used in the textile industry," he said.

However, Denny also hoped Indonesia should not be inferior to Singapore notabede not have gas. "The period we have even expensive gas. Singapore, which has not just cheaper gas. It's a concern, "he concluded.
