Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudrajat said the development of import and export of textiles and textile products directly related to the competitiveness of the industry. Ketua Umum Asosiasi tekstil Indonesia (API) Ade Sudrajat mengatakan perkembangan impor dan ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil terkait langsung dengan daya saing industri. Kinerja ekspor industri tekstil dan produk tekstil terus tekanan, terutama industri hulu sektor dibebani biaya listrik yang lebih tinggi.

Ekspor nilai industri tekstil turun 10,93% dari US $ 1310000000 untuk $ 1170000000 pada periode yang sama.


Nilai ekspor industri tekstil secara keseluruhan turun 3,6% dari US $ 12740000000 pada tahun 2014 menjadi US $ 12280000000 pada tahun 2015, kontribusi industri tekstil sedangan untuk produk domestik bruto Indonesia turun dari 1,32% menjadi 1,21 % selama periode yang sama.
