Export Yarn And Fabric Indonesia To Mexico Increase PDF Print E-mail

Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Mexico City attempted to encourage increased exports of textile products Indonesia. One of them with participation at the 65th Intermodal Expo 2016 in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico on July 19 to 22, 2016. Recorded exports of yarns and fabrics (HS 55) Indonesia to Mexico increased by 46.57% in 2015.

 

Mexico has a population of more than 125 million inhabitants and is a country with a population the 3rd largest in the Americas. "The people of Mexico are known the consumer in the shop and also fashionable in clothes. This is an opportunity for Indonesia as a major manufacturer and exporter of textile products including other products related to fashion. Mexico is an untapped potential market optimally, "said the Head of ITPC Mexico City, Banny R. Ramadhani.

 

For yarn and fabric products, especially Manmade staple fibers (HS 55), Indonesia's exports to Mexico in 2015 increased significantly, ie 46.57%. In 2014, the value of Mexican imports from Indonesia for the HS 55 is USD 25.08 million, and in 2015 the value increased to USD 36.76 million.

 

In 2015, Indonesia ranked as the fourth largest exporter of this product to Mexico, after the United States, China and India.

 

Intermodal Expo, held twice a year is an international event that displays a variety of fashion-related products, ranging from machinery, yarn, fabrics, accessories, shoes, and clothing. For the edition of July 2016, the exhibition was attended by more than 800 exhibitors, both local and international, in the presence of more than 18 thousand potential buyers.

 

Indonesia is one of the 16 countries participating in this exhibition. Indonesia's participation in this exhibition have the full support of the Indonesian Ambassador to Mexico, Yusra Khan. Indonesian Ambassador Yusra attended the opening of the exhibition and visit the booth of Indonesia. "I hope in the future more and more participation of Indonesia in this exhibition to promote the Indonesian textile products in the Mexican market," said Yusra.

 

 

Ekpor Benang Dan Kain Indonesia Ke Mexico Meningkat

 

 

Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Mexico City terus berupaya  mendorong peningkatan ekspor produk tekstil Indonesia. Salah satunya memalui partisipasi pada the 65th Intermoda Expo 2016 di Kota Guadalajara, Meksiko pada 19-22 Juli 2016. Tercatat ekspor  benang dan kain (HS 55) Indonesia ke Meksiko meningkat 46,57% pada 2015.

 

Meksiko memiliki jumlah penduduk lebih dari 125 juta jiwa dan merupakan negara dengan jumlah  penduduk terbesar ke-3 di benua Amerika. “Masyarakat Meksiko dikenal konsumtif dalam berbelanja dan juga fashionable dalam berpakaian. Hal ini merupakan peluang bagi Indonesia  sebagai produsen dan eksportir besar produk tekstil termasuk produk lainnya terkait dengan  fesyen. Meksiko merupakan pasar potensial yang belum tergarap secara optimal,” ungkap Kepala  ITPC Mexico City, Banny R. Ramadhani.

 

Untuk produk benang dan kain, khususnya Manmade staple fibres (HS 55), ekspor Indonesia ke  Meksiko pada 2015 meningkat cukup signifikan, yaitu 46,57%. Pada 2014, nilai impor Meksiko dari  Indonesia untuk HS 55 adalah USD 25,08 juta, dan pada 2015 nilai tersebut meningkat menjadi  USD 36,76 juta.

 

Pada tahun 2015, Indonesia menempati peringkat ke-4 negara eksportir terbesar  produk ini ke Meksiko, setelah Amerika Serikat, RRT dan India.

 

Intermoda Expo yang diselenggarakan dua kali dalam setahun merupakan ajang berskala  internasional yang menampilkan aneka produk terkait fesyen, mulai dari mesin, benang, kain,  aksesoris, sepatu, dan juga pakaian. Untuk edisi Juli 2016 ini, pameran diikuti oleh lebih dari 800 eksibitor, baik lokal maupun internasional, serta dihadiri lebih dari 18 ribu pembeli potensial.

 

Indonesia merupakan salah satu dari 16 negara yang berpartisipasi pada pameran ini.  Partisipasi Indonesia pada pameran ini mendapat dukungan penuh dari Duta Besar RI untuk  Meksiko, Yusra Khan. Dubes RI Yusra turut menghadiri pembukaan pameran serta mengunjungi  booth Indonesia. “Saya berharap ke depan semakin banyak partisipasi perusahaan Indonesia pada pameran ini untuk mempromosikan produk tekstil Indonesia di pasar Meksiko,” ungkap Yusra.
