Commodities textiles and textile goods still to be excellent in export and import activities in Central Java. Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Central Java, Yuwono said Margo, textiles and textile goods included in the main commodity groups that have the highest export value during the period January-July 2016, which were responsible for 44.59%.

 

"Likewise in imports, in the same period the contribution of commodity textiles and textile goods amounted to 42.61%," he said.

 

According to him, the high demand for commodities textiles and textile articles in import-export activities in Central Java, because many garment and textile industry. The labor-intensive industries to encourage exports in Central Java.

 

In July 2016, the import value of Central Java reached 641.59 million US dollars, down by 28.29% compared to June 2016 imports of the 894.77 million US dollars. When compared to July 2015 the value of imports in July 2016 decreased by 21.47%.

 

Meanwhile, the value of exports in July 2016 amounted to 287.33 million US dollars, decreased by 47.29% compared to June 2016 exports worth 545.13 million US dollars. Meanwhile, when compared to July 2015, exports decreased by 96.92 million or 25.22%.

 

Margo said, the country's largest supplier of imported goods to Central Java during the period January-July 2016 are China, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. Meanwhile, the country's main export market share in Central Java during the period January-July 2016 were the United States, Japan and China.

 

Tekstil Masih Jadi Primadona Ekspor-Impor Jawa Tengah

 

Komoditas tekstil dan barang tekstil masih menjadi primadona dalam aktivitas ekspor dan impor di Jawa Tengah. Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Jawa Tengah, Margo Yuwono mengatakan, tekstil dan barang tekstil masuk dalam kelompok komoditas utama yang mempunyai nilai ekspor tertinggi selama periode Januari-Juli 2016, yakni memberikan andil sebesar 44,59%.

 

“Begitupun dalam impor, pada periode yang sama kontribusi komoditas tekstil dan barang tekstil sebesar 42,61%,” ungkapnya.

 

Menurut dia, tingginya permintaan komoditas tekstil dan barang tekstil pada aktivitas impor-ekspor di Jateng, karena banyak industri garmen dan tekstil. Industri padat karya tersebut mendorong ekspor di Jateng.

 

Pada bulan Juli 2016, nilai impor Jawa Tengah mencapai 641,59 juta dolar AS, turun sebesar 28,29% dibandingkan impor Juni 2016 yakni 894,77 juta dolar AS. Bila dibanding Juli 2015 nilai impor Juli 2016 mengalami penurunan sebesar 21,47%.

 

Sedangkan, nilai ekspor pada bulan Juli 2016 sebesar 287,33 juta dolar AS atau mengalami penurunan sebesar 47,29% dibandingkan ekspor Juni 2016 senilai 545,13 juta dolar AS. Sementara bila dibandingkan Juli 2015, ekspor mengalami penurunan sebesar 96,92 juta dolar AS atau 25,22%.

 

Margo menuturkan, negara pemasok barang impor terbesar ke Jawa Tengah selama periode Januari-Juli 2016 adalah Tiongkok, Arab Saudi dan Nigeria. Sedangkan, negara pangsa pasar utama ekspor Jawa Tengah selama periode Januari-Juli 2016 adalah Amerika Serikat, Jepang dan Tiongkok.
