National Textile Industry Have Chance Expands Export Markets PDF Print E-mail

Textiles and textile products (TPT) were considered likely to expand the export market to various countries in the world, the article market share of Indonesia's textile industry a new 2 percent of the world textile market. Sigit said that the national textile industry is capable of producing high quality products, the design is up to date (current) and the ability to supply the rapidly will greater chance of reaching the world market.

 

"The export market opportunities open to the national textile industry," said Director General of Chemical Industry, Textile and Miscellaneous Industry Ministry Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono through a press release on Monday.

 

According to data from the Ministry of Industry, the national textile industry's export performance over the last five years experienced an average growth of 2.28 percent with an export value reached 12.28 billion US dollars in 2015. This performance is somewhat better than the national export performance around 4.69 percent and non-oil exports amounted to 8.92 percent.

 

"It is certainly not without the hard work of the government together with all actors in the country's textile industry to survive global competition increasingly intense," said Sigit.

 

According to him, the growth prospects of the national textile industry is getting better in the future as demand in the domestic market continue to soar and rising world consumption.

 

 

Industri Tekstil Nasional Berpeluang Perluas Pasar Ekspor

 

 

Industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) dinilai berpeluang memperluas pasar ekspor ke berbagai negara di dunia, pasalnya pangsa pasar industri tekstil Indonesia baru 2 persen dari pasar TPT dunia. Sigit menyampaikan, industri TPT nasional yang mampu menghasilkan produk berkualitas tinggi, desain yang up to date (terkini) dan kemampuan pasok yang cepat akan berpeluang lebih besar menggapai pasar dunia.

 

 

"Peluang pasar ekspor tersebut terbuka bagi industri TPT nasional,” kata Dirjen Industri Kimia Tekstil dan Aneka Kementerian Perindustrian Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono lewat siaran pers di Jakarta, Senin.

 

Menurut data Kemenperin, kinerja ekspor industri TPT nasional selama lima tahun terakhir mengalami pertumbuhan rata-rata sebesar 2,28 persen dengan nilai ekspor mencapai 12,28 miliar dollar AS pada 2015. Kinerja ini terbilang lebih baik jika dibandingkan kinerja ekspor nasional sekitar 4,69 persen dan ekspor non migas sebesar 8,92 persen.

 

“Hal ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari kerja keras pemerintah bersama seluruh pelaku industri TPT dalam negeri untuk bisa tetap bertahan menghadapi persaingan global yang semakin tajam,” ujar Sigit.

 

Menurutnya, prospek pertumbuhan industri TPT nasional semakin baik pada masa mendatang karena permintaan pasar di dalam negeri yang terus melonjak serta meningkatnya konsumsi dunia.
