Proximity fabric and fashion designers are like two sides of a coin. Different, but still united. Unfortunately, the relationship with the fashion designer textile company in Indonesia has not semesra it. This was conveyed by President Director Iwan Setiawan Sritex Lukminto.

"The relationship between industrial enterprises with fashion designers in Indonesia has not been strong. Rarely do these two elements blend together well in Indonesia," said Iwan.

Iwan explained Loosening the relationship between fashion designers and textile companies in Indonesia caused by several things.

Firstly, textile products produced by Indonesian textile company is still less varied. Second, knowledge of materials and textile education in Indonesia is still lacking a lot.

"Because the two things that the designer difficult to find material [for the clothes they made]. Manufacturers of textiles was not familiar with the design. So the company continued to manufacture textiles [material] are the same and designers looking for continued material difference," said Iwan,

Iwan evident from the statement that Loosening ties these two elements because there is no communication with each other. Two of these elements feel safe in its own path. Though not necessarily what they live it right, though each element garnered much success.

According to Iwan, these two elements should be aware that they actually need each other. Designers need materials from textile and textile companies require knowledge of the design of a fashion designer.

"Indonesian fashion designers to be closer, to know and to advise the research and development section at a textile company in Indonesia. The company must also be willing to learn textile design and to accept it," said Iwan.

Thus the two elements is going to build a bond that is mutually beneficial or symbiotic mutualism.

In addition, there is still one more way that can be done to strengthen this relationship. There should be clear regulations on retail in Indonesia.

For example, the regulation concerning the production of textile import restrictions in Indonesia. Iwan find retail rules will be the main umbrella cooperation these two elements.

"Now brocade wrote imports, whereas the wear brocade right of our people. Local content should be more than imports, so a lot of growing new fabrics. Thus, cooperation opportunities will be great designers with manufacturers," said Iwan.

Iwan added, in addition to retail regulation should also make shrimp government laws regarding the sovereignty of clothing.

All the elements of their clothing should be regulated by law. Crate rules on textile raw materials, materials, human resources, finance and energy.

Iwan admitted that he had submitted a draft law to the Council of Representatives in December last year. He felt the rules of the sovereignty of clothing is very important.

"Clothing was one of the staples, so important," said Iwan. "The law on food sovereignty and the existing board. Stay clothing aja

Menunggu Kerjasama Perancang Busana dan Produsen Tekstil

Kedekatan kain dan perancang busana ibarat dua sisi mata uang. Berbeda, namun tetap menyatu.
