Jiangsu Dong Gun Interested Establish Factory in Indonesia PDF Print E-mail

Chinese investor, Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co. Ltd. expressed interest in building the textile industry and textile products (TPT) with an investment of US $ 100 million. This interest was conveyed when President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the group working visit to China to attend the G-20 Summit in Hangzhou.


"We certainly welcome the interest of Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co. Ltd who want to invest in Indonesia," said Industry Minister Airlangga Hartanto


Airlangga also submitted several location options such investment in the Industrial Area Kendal, Central Java, given the size of land and labor available skilled enough.


Airlangga claimed to have a meeting with the management of Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co Ltd in Shanghai.Pada that occasion, he was accompanied by the Director General of Security and Access Development Industry (KPAII) Harjanto Ministry of Industry and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Indonesia Rosan Perkasa Roeslani ,


"We asked them to be working together with a local partner," said Airlangga.


At that meeting, the management Jiangsu opportunity to ask about investment incentives and the availability of energy for the textile industry. Airlangga also explained that there has been deregulation of economic policy to reduce the rules may hinder the development of industry and business in Indonesia.


Until now, a total of 13 packages of economic policies that have been issued. "The government is also considering the decline in gas prices competitive for the industry, including the textile sector. It is to improve the competitiveness of the industry," he said.


In addition, Airlangga added, for an industry that qualify will be given special incentives such as tax holidays, tax allowance and exemption from import duties for certain industries within the framework of the investment.

Investor asal China, Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co Ltd menyatakan minatnya membangun industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) dengan nilai investasi sebesar US$ 100 juta. Minat ini disampaikan saat Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) dan rombongan kunjungan kerja ke China dalam rangka menghadiri KTT G-20 di Hangzhou.


"Kami tentunya menyambut baik minat Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co Ltd yang ingin berinvestasi di Indonesia," kata Menteri Perindustrian Airlangga Hartarto


Airlangga juga menyampaikan beberapa opsi lokasi investasi seperti di Kawasan Industri Kendal, Jawa Tengah, mengingat masih luas lahannya dan tenaga kerjanya yang tersedia cukup terampil.


Airlangga mengaku telah melakukan pertemuan dengan jajaran manajemen Jiangsu Dongqun Investment Holding Group Co Ltd di Shanghai.Pada kesempatan itu, ia didampingi Dirjen Ketahanan dan Pengembangan Akses Industri Internasional (KPAII) Kemenperin Harjanto serta Ketua Umum Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) Indonesia Rosan Perkasa Roeslani.


"Kami meminta kepada mereka agar dapat melakukan kerja sama dengan lokal partner," ujar Airlangga.


Di pertemuan itu, manajemen Jiangsu sempat menanyakan tentang insentif investasi serta ketersediaan energi bagi industri TPT. Airlangga pun menjelaskan bahwa telah ada deregulasi kebijakan ekonomi untuk mengurangi aturan-aturan yang dapat menghambat perkembangan industri dan bisnis di Indonesia.


Hingga saat ini, sebanyak 13 paket kebijakan ekonomi yang telah dikeluarkan. "Pemerintah juga tengah mengkaji penurunan harga gas yang kompetitif bagi industri, termasuk untuk sektor TPT. Hal ini untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri tersebut," tuturnya.


Di samping itu, tambah Airlangga, bagi industri yang memenuhi syarat akan diberikan insentif khusus seperti tax holiday, tax allowance, dan pembebasan bea masuk bagi industri tertentu dalam rangka investasi.
