Consumers Cotton Start Queued in Bonded Logistics Center Cikarang Dry port PDF Print E-mail

Consumers Start Cotton Queued in Bonded Logistics Center Cikarang Dry port . Upon delivery of cotton sign, some buyers began to gather in Cikarang Dry Port area Bonded Logistics Center for cotton production. The first delivery of hundreds of tons of cotton partially leave the warehouse to the customer's premises on August 15 - 19, 2016.

 

Shipping cotton from Cikarang will be faster and cheaper than if the buyer import directly from third countries such as Malaysia or Singapore. The existence of Bonded Logistics Center will facilitate the cotton textile industry nationwide in obtaining cotton as a raw material. Previously, the national textile industry to import directly in large numbers and experience a longer delivery time than the middle or the state of the country cotton export.

 

"The presence of cotton Bonded Logistics Center in Cikarang Dry Port is obviously beneficial for the national textile industry. Because they will not need to order delivery from Malaysia as before become a haven cotton in Southeast Asia "said G. Ernovian Ismy, Secretary General of the Indonesian Textile Association (Indonesian Textile Association - API.

 

With operating facilities such as Bonded Logistics Center in Cikarang Dry Port is expected to improve the competitiveness of the national textile industry.

 

The textile industry contributes USD 12,280,000,000 or 8.17% of total exports in 2015. Textiles and textile products industry recorded an export surplus of USD 4,310,000,000 and accounted for 1.22% of the national GDP. The industry also provides employment to 2.79 million labor force.

 

"In 2016, the Ministry of Industry hopes that if the textile industry is able to grow 6.33%, and its contribution increased 2.43% of national GDP," said Muhdori, Director of Textile, Footwear, and Other Textile Ministry. One strategy is to increase the efficiency of the textile industry raw material supply. This is consistent with the role of Bonded Logistics Center in Cikarang Dry Port.

 

 

Konsumen Kapas Mulai Antri di Pusat Logistik Berikat Cikarang Dry port

 

 

Setelah pengiriman kapas masuk, beberapa pembeli mulai berkumpul di Cikarang Dry Port di area Pusat Logistik Berikat untuk produksi kapas. Ratusan ton pertama pengiriman kapas sebagian meninggalkan gudang ke tempat pelanggan pada tanggal 15 Agustus – 19, 2016.

 

Pengiriman kapas dari Cikarang akan lebih cepat dan lebih murah daripada jika pembeli mengimpor langsung dari negara ketiga seperti Malaysia atau Singapura. Keberadaan Berikat Logistik Pusat kapas akan memfasilitasi industri tekstil nasional dalam memperoleh kapas sebagai bahan baku. Sebelumnya, industri tekstil nasional harus mengimpor langsung dalam jumlah besar dan mengalami waktu pengiriman yang lebih lama dari negara tengah atau dari negara kapas ekspor.

 

“Keberadaan Pusat Logistik Berikat kapas di Cikarang Dry Port jelas menguntungkan bagi industri tekstil nasional. Karena mereka tidak akan perlu memesan pengiriman dari Malaysia seperti sebelumnya menjadi tempat singgah kapas di Asia Tenggara “kata Ernovian G. Ismy, Sekretaris Jenderal Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia – API.

 

Dengan operasi fasilitas Berikat Logistik Pusat seperti di Cikarang Dry Port diharapkan untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri tekstil nasional. Industri tekstil berkontribusi sebesar USD 12,280,000,000 atau 8,17% dari total ekspor pada tahun 2015. Tekstil dan produk industri tekstil mencatat surplus ekspor sebesar USD 4,310,000,000 dan menyumbang 1,22% dari PDB nasional. Industri ini juga menyediakan lapangan kerja bagi 2,79 juta angkatan kerja.

 

“Pada 2016, Kementerian Perindustrian berharap jika industri tekstil mampu tumbuh 6,33%, dan kontribusinya meningkat 2,43% dari PDB nasional” kata Muhdori, Direktur Industri Tekstil, Sepatu, dan Lainnya Kementerian Tekstil. Salah satu strategi adalah dengan meningkatkan efisiensi industri tekstil pasokan bahan baku. Ini sejalan dengan peran Pusat Logistik Berikat di Cikarang Dry Port.
