Once you have a strong positioning, Indonesia will be sustainable textile supply to Europe, "said Director General of PEN, the Ministry of Trade, Arlinda interrupted a working visit to Nanning, People's Republic of China, (11/9).

 

In the first half of 2016, the export value of textiles and textile products Indonesia to France reached USD 46.52 million. France is the country of export destination for Indonesian-8 in the European region. Indonesia's position can still be considered as countries supplying textile products to France. "The European Union is working to stem the flood of Chinese textiles after the end to textile quotas since 2005. This is an opportunity for Indonesia to prove the quality of our products and become an alternative raw material supply textiles for the fashion industry of France. "

 

France is the center of world fashion and apparel manufacturer with high quality. Fashion show, on a small scale, or international and prestigious, are routinely held in various cities in France, especially Paris. Fashion and clothing industry in France is one of the big industry which has enormous economic potential. Therefore, the demand for raw material supply of clothing or textiles to France is quite high, which is valued at USD 28.81 billion in 2015.

 

Texworld is a prestigious and international exhibitions in France held twice a year, in February and September. Autumn 2015 Texworld Paris attended by 943 participants and 14 254 visitors attended. In the last year of participation, the Indonesian Pavilion pocketed transactions and trade contacts of USD 5.77 million.

 

Texworld Paris Autumn 2016 is the exhibition of products fabrics, trims, and accessories. In this exhibition, Indonesia will perform in an area of 72 m2 in Hall 4, Paris Le Bourget. Indonesia Pavilion facilitate eight of textile and textile products, among others PT. Gistex (polyester woven fabric), PT. Hakatex (linen, cotton), PT. Rays The Midshipman (wrap plain knitting, lace), PT. Sinar Continental (printing apparel), PT. Qualities Excellence Yarn (yarn), PT. Indo Hasasi (linen, cotton), PT. Kewalram (embroidered products), and PT. Mayer Indah Indonesia (lace, embroidery, tulle, and tricot).

 

To maximize the sale of textile products in France and beyond, DGNED involved and Indonesian Trade Attache Trade and Promotion Center (ITPC) in the European region as well as the Indonesian Textile Association. "We are optimistic about the promotion through this exhibition and can be a reference in the study of Indonesian textile products market share in the global market, especially in Europe," said Arlinda.

 

Exports of textile and clothing Indonesia to the World

In 2015, the export value of textiles and textile products to the world Indonesia reached USD 12.28 billion. While the first half of 2016, the export value of textiles and textile products Indonesia was USD 6.22 billion. Indonesia ranks 17th as a supplier of textiles and textile products the world with a share of 1.58%. Meanwhile, France is an importer of textiles and textile products to the 6th world with a value of USD 28.81 billion, or 4.04% of total imports of textiles and textile products world.

 

Textiles and textile products are exported to major world Indonesia, among others artificial staple fiber yarn (except sewing thread), not for retail sale, 85% or more (wt.) Of artificial staple fibers, single yarn; women's or girls' blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses of manmade fibers, not knitted or Crocheted; sweaters, pullovers, sweatshirts, vests and Similar articles of cotton, knitted or Crocheted; women's or girls' trousers, bib and brace overalls, Breeches and shorts of cotton, not knitted or Crocheted; and men's or boys' shirts of cotton, not knitted or Crocheted.

 

 

Kementrian Perdagangan Lakukan Promosi Ke Prancis

 

 

 

Kementerian Perdagangan semakin gencar meningkatkan ekspor produk-produk Indonesia. Membidik potensi ekspor tekstil di Pusat Mode, Perancis, Kemendag kembali berpartisipasi pada pameran Texworld 2016 yang akan diselenggarakan pada 12 – 15 September 2016.

“Dalam statistik, nilai ekspor Indonesia harus terus bergerak ke atas. Untuk itu, kita (Kemendag) perlu lebih gencar promosi melalui pameran. Setelah memiliki positioning yang kuat, Indonesia akan berkelanjutan memasok tekstil ke Eropa,” tegas Dirjen PEN, Kemendag, Arlinda disela kunjungan kerja ke Nanning, Republik Rakyat Tiongkok, (11/9).

Pada semester pertama 2016, nilai ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia ke Perancis mencapai USD 46,52 juta. Perancis merupakan negara tujuan ekspor ke-8 Indonesia di kawasan Eropa. Posisi Indonesia masih dapat diperhitungkan sebagai negara penyuplai produk tekstil ke Perancis. “Uni Eropa tengah berupaya membendung banjir tekstil dari Tiongkok pasca mengakhiri kuota tekstil sejak 2005 lalu. Ini peluang Indonesia membuktikan kualitas produk kita dan menjadi alternatif pasokan bahan baku tekstil bagi industri mode Perancis.”

Perancis merupakan pusat mode dunia dan penghasil pakaian dengan kualitas tinggi. Fashion show, dalam skala kecil ataupun internasional dan bergengsi, secara rutin digelar di berbagai kota di Perancis, terutama Paris. Industri mode dan pakaian di Perancis merupakan salah satu industri besar yang memiliki potensi ekonomi sangat besar. Oleh karena itu, permintaan pasokan bahan baku pakaian atau tekstil ke Perancis cukup tinggi, yakni senilai USD 28,81 miliar pada 2015.

Texworld adalah pameran bergengsi dan bertaraf internasional di Perancis yang diselenggarakan dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari dan September. Texworld Paris Autumn 2015  diikuti oleh 943 peserta dan dihadiri 14.254 pengunjung. Pada partisipasi tahun lalu, Paviliun Indonesia mengantongi transaksi dan kontak dagang sebesar USD 5,77 juta.

Paviliun Indonesia memfasilitasi delapan perusahaan tekstil dan produk tekstil, antara lain PT. Gistex (polyester woven fabric), PT. Hakatex (linen, cotton), PT. Sinar Para Taruna (wrap knitting plain, lace), PT. Sinar Continental (printing apparel), PT. Excellence Qualities Yarn (yarn), PT. Indo Hasasi (linen, cotton), PT. Kewalram (embroidered products), dan PT. Mayer Indah Indonesia (lace, embroidery, tulle, & tricot).

Untuk memaksimalkan promosi produk tekstil di Perancis dan sekitarnya, Ditjen PEN melibatkan Atase Perdagangan dan Indonesian Trade and Promotion Center (ITPC) di wilayah Eropa serta Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia. “Kami optimis terhadap hasil promosi melalui pameran ini dan dapat menjadi acuan dalam kajian pangsa pasar produk tekstil Indonesia di pasar global, terutama Eropa,” pungkas Arlinda.

Ekspor Tekstil dan Produk Tekstil Indonesia ke Dunia

Pada 2015, nilai ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia ke dunia mencapai USD 12,28 miliar. Sementara pada semester pertama 2016, nilai ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia adalah sebesar USD 6,22 miliar. Indonesia berada di urutan 17 sebagai pemasok tekstil dan produk tekstil dunia dengan share sebesar 1,58%.  Sementara itu, Perancis adalah pengimpor tekstil dan produk tekstil ke-6 dunia dengan nilai sebesar USD 28,81 miliar, atau 4,04% dari total impor tekstil dan produk tekstil dunia.
