Two Taiwanese textile companies focus on marketing its products in Muslim market. They attract Muslims by introducing new technologies and innovative design. Muslim population in the world reached 1.2 billion to 1.6 billion, so that the two textile companies that have high expectations with technology and distinctive design that they have can attract the Muslim market.


One Taiwanese company, Rui Yuan Co. has sent a representative to exhibit their products at the Texworld Paris on 12 September until 15 September. A company known for making fabrics for clothing has brought a product hijab for global mill industry trade fairs.


"A Muslim woman has an average of 40 to 50 pieces hijab. They tend to buy a new hijab every two or three months, and we have seen this business opportunity, "said Ekesekutif Rui Yuan Li Chih ming.


Li said veiled Muslim women in Asia are not too happy with the heat. They have the technology to develop a product niche functional fabrics that keep the wearer cool while wearing hijab.


He also has recruited designers from Malaysia to manufacture a veil with a special pattern for ladies. In addition to China, they also market their products to Malaysia.


After participating in Texworld Paris, Rui Yuan will also expand into the UK market in the near future. In addition to Rui Yuan that introduce products hijab, Universal Textile Co. sought to introduce Muslim wear abayas sederana and loose in Texworld, Paris.

Dua perusahaan tekstil Taiwan fokus memasarkan produknya pada pasaran muslim. Mereka menarik minat umat Islam dengan memperkenalkan teknologi baru dan desain yang inovatif.


Populasi muslim di dunia mencapai 1,2 miliar hingga 1,6 miliar sehingga dua perusahaan tekstil tersebut memiliki harapan tinggi dengan teknologi dan desain khas yang mereka miliki dapat menarik minat pasar muslim.


Salah satu perusahaan Taiwan, Rui Yuan Co telah mengirimkan perwakilannya untuk memamerkan produknya di Texworld Paris pada 12 September hingga 15 September. Perusahaan yang dikenal membuat kain untuk pakaian ini telah membawa produk jilbab untuk pameran perdagangan industri tekstik global.


“Seorang muslim perempuan memiliki rata-rata 40 hingga 50 buah jilbab. Mereka cenderung membeli jilbab baru setiap dua atau tiga bulan sekali, dan kami telah melihat peluang bisnis ini,” kata Ekesekutif Rui Yuan Li Chih ming.


Li mengatakan muslimah berjilbab di Asia tidak terlalu suka dengan panas. Mereka memiliki teknologi niche yang dapat mengembangkan produk kain fungsional agar pemakai tetap dingin saat memakai jilbab.


Dia juga telah merekrut desainer dari Malaysia untuk memproduksi jilbab dengan pola khusus bagi muslimah. Selain di Cina, mereka juga memasarkan produknya ke Malaysia.


Setelah berpartisipasi di Texworld Paris, Rui Yuan juga akan berekspansi ke pasar di Inggris dalam waktu dekat. Selain Rui Yuan yang mengenalkan produk jilbabnya, Universal Textile Co berusaha untuk mengenalkan pakaian muslim abaya yang sederana dan longgar di Texworld, Paris.


Abaya tradisional berwarna hitam ditambah dengan kain segi empat yang lebar yang disampirkan ke bahu atau kepala. Manajer Universal Tekstil Chen Yi hsiang mengatakan sejak revolusi Jasmine, banyak konsumen muslim yang berminat terhadap abaya dengan warna lebih variatif dengan berbagai pola. Mereka pun telah mendapatkan pesanan untuk itu dan berusaha memenuhinya.
