In a report received by the police on Thursday afternoon, mentioned there are five containers will enter the capital of Riau province by sea.

Duduga Penyelundupan Barang Tekstil 5 Kontainer Diperiksa Di Riau

 

 

Direktorat Kriminal Khusus Kepolisian Daerah Riau bersama dengan Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai (KPPBC) Tipe Madya Pabean B Pekanbaru pada Kamis, menggeledah pelabuhan peti kemas di kawasan Sungai Duku, Kota Pekanbaru.

 

"Lima kontainer yang kita periksa hari ini diduga menyimpan barang selundupan berupa tekstil, elektronik dan minuman keras," kata Direktur Kriminal Khusus Polda Riau, Kombes Pol Rivai Sinambela usai pemeriksaan.

 

 

Ia mengatakan pemeriksaan itu berawal adanya informasi dari masyarakat yang menyebutkan akan adanya upaya penyelundupan melalui pelabuhan bongkar muat PT Bandar Teguh Abadi, kawasan Sungai Duku, Pekanbaru.

 

Dalam laporan yang diterima kepolisian pada Kamis siang, disebutkan ada lima kontainer yang akan masuk ke ibu kota Provinsi Riau tersebut melalui jalur laut.

 

Merespon laporan itu, Polda Riau bersama Polresta Pekanbaru yang berkoordinasi dengan Bea Cukai langsung ke lokasi tepatnya di PT Bandar Teguh Abadi.

 

Rivai mengatakan petugas memeriksa satu persatu isi kontainer. Pada kontainer pertama ditemukan peralatan furniture yang terbuat dari metal. Namun, isi kontainer pertama itu sesuai manifes kapal sehingga tidak ditemukan barang mencurigakan.

 

Selanjutnya pada kontainer kedua, ditemukan logam berupa skrup dan paku. Hasil pemeriksaan juga sama, isi kontainer sesuai data manifes perusahaan.

 

"Begitu juga pada isi kontainer selanjutnya. Setelah diperiksa kontainer berisi Genset, suku cadang kendaraan dan alumunium. Tidak ditemukan miras, tekstil maupun barang elektronik," ujarnya.

 

Meski tidak menemukan barang-barang yang mencurigakan sesuai laporan masyarakat, ia mengatakan pihaknya tetap menghargai laporan itu.

 

Menurutnya, sesuai instruksi Presiden Joko Widodo dan Kapolri Jenderal Tito Karnavian, sangat penting bagi polisi untuk merespon cepat laporan masyarakat terkait penyelundupan.

 

"Kita hargai laporan itu meski tidak ditemukan adanya barang mencurigakan," ujarnya.

 

Dari pantauan lapangan, PT Bandar Teguh yang beralamat di Jalan PT Bangkinang nomor 2 memiliki lahan yang cukup luas. Kendaraan bertonase besar terlihat lalu lalang di lokasi tersebut.

 

Selain itu terpantau sejumlah "Crane" dan barang-barang impor seperti besi, pipa dan lainnya yang mayoritas dari Tiongkok. Lokasi itu sendiri terkesan sangat tertutup, di mana sejumlah sekuriti terus mencegah awak media untuk mengambil gambar saat pemeriksaan kepolisian berlangsung.
