Indonesian Textile Export 8th Destination Is France PDF Print E-mail

The export value of textiles and textile products (TPT) Indonesia to France for the first half of 2016 reached US $ 46.52 million. The European Union he said, seeks to stem the flood of Chinese textiles after the end to textile quotas since 2005. "It's an opportunity for Indonesia to prove the quality of our products and become an alternative raw material supply textiles for the French fashion industry," said Arlinda.

 

He said that France is the center of world fashion and apparel manufacturer with high quality. Fashion show, both on a small scale and internationally prestigious, regularly held in various cities in France, especially Paris.

 

That's why further Arlinda, Trade Ministry committed to strengthening the position of textile exports to the world's fashion centers, Texworld France through 2016. The exhibition was held on September 12 to 15, 2016.

 

In statistics, he said, the export value of Indonesia continues to move upward. "Hence, the Ministry of Trade needs to be heavily promoting through the exhibition. Once you have a strong positioning, continuous Indonesia will supply textiles to Europe, "he said.

 

Texworld is the international exhibition in France which is held twice a year, in February and September. Last year, Texworld Paris Autumn 2015 followed 943 participants and 14 254 visitors attended. In the last year of that participation, the Indonesian Pavilion pocketed transactions and trade contacts of US $ 5.77 million.

 

"In 2015, demand for raw material supply garments to France reached US $ 28.81 million," he explained.

 

While Texworld Paris Autumn 2016 is the exhibition of products fabrics, trims, and accessories. In this exhibition, Indonesia performed in an area of 72 m2 in Hall 4, Paris Le Bourget.

 

Indonesia Pavilion facilitate eight of textile and textile products, namely PT Gistex (polyester woven fabric), PT Hakatex (linen, cotton), PT Sinar The Midshipman (wrap knitting plain, lace), PT Sinar Continental (printing apparel), PT Excellence Qualities yarn (yarn).

 

Then, PT Indo Hasasi (linen, cotton), PT Kewalram (embroidered products), and PT Mayer Indah Indonesia (lace, embroidery, tulle, and tricot).

 

"To maximize the sale of textile products we involve and Indonesian Trade Attache Trade and Promotion Center (ITPC) in the European region as well as the Indonesian Textile Association," said Arlinda.

 

Globally, the value of exports of textiles and textile products to the world Indonesia in 2015 reached US $ 12.28 billion. While the first half of 2016, the export value of textiles and textile products Indonesia amounted to US $ 6.22 billion.

 

Indonesia ranks 17th as a supplier of textiles and textile products the world with a share of 1.58%. Meanwhile, France is the importer of textiles and textile products to the 6th world with a value of US $ 28.81 billion, or 4.04% of total imports of textiles and textile products world.

 

Tujuan Ekspor Tekstil  Indonesia ke-8 Adalah Prancis

 

Nilai ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) Indonesia ke Prancis untuk semester I 2016 mencapai US$ 46,52 juta. Prancis merupakan negara tujuan ekspor ke-8 Indonesia di kawasan Eropa.

“Posisi Indonesia masih dapat diperhitungkan sebagai negara penyuplai produk tekstil ke Prancis walaupun kompetisi antarnegara di dunia tidak ringan. Apalagi ada upaya Uni Eropa “melawan” banjir tekstil dari Tiongkok,” kata Dirjen Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional (PEN) Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) Arlinda.

Hal itu disebutkan Arlinda dalam keterangan persnya melalui Biro Humas Kemendag, yang diterima SuaraTani.com, Rabu (14/9).

Uni Eropa kata dia, berupaya membendung banjir tekstil dari Tiongkok pasca mengakhiri kuota tekstil sejak 2005. “Ini peluang Indonesia untuk membuktikan kualitas produk kita dan menjadi alternatif pasokan bahan baku tekstil bagi industri mode Prancis,” kata Arlinda.

Dikatakannya, Prancis merupakan pusat mode dunia dan penghasil pakaian dengan kualitas tinggi. Fashion show, baik dalam skala kecil maupun internasional yang bergengsi, secara rutin digelar di berbagai kota di Prancis, terutama Paris.

Karena itulah lanjut Arlinda, Kemendag berkomitmen memperkuat posisi ekspor tekstil ke pusat mode dunia, Prancis melalui Texworld 2016. Pameran ini dilaksanakan pada 12 – 15 September 2016.

Dalam statistik, kata dia, nilai ekspor Indonesia terus bergerak ke atas. “Makanya Kemendag perlu gencar melakukan promosi melalui pameran. Setelah memiliki positioning yang kuat, Indonesia secara kontinu akan memasok tekstil ke Eropa,” tegasnya.

Texworld adalah pameran bertaraf internasional di Prancis yang diselenggarakan dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu Februari dan September. Tahun lalu, Texworld Paris Autumn 2015 diikuti 943 peserta dan dihadiri 14.254 pengunjung. Pada partisipasi tahun lalu itu pula, Paviliun Indonesia mengantongi transaksi dan kontak dagang sebesar US$ 5,77 juta.

“Tahun 2015, permintaan pasokan bahan baku pakaian ke Prancis mencapai US$ 28,81 juta,” terangnya.

Sedangkan Texworld Paris Autumn 2016 adalah pameran produk fabrics, trims, dan accessories. Dalam pameran ini, Indonesia tampil di area seluas 72 m2 di Hall 4, Paris Le Bourget.

Paviliun Indonesia memfasilitasi delapan perusahaan tekstil dan produk tekstil, yakni PT Gistex (polyester woven fabric), PT Hakatex (linen, cotton), PT Sinar Para Taruna (wrap knitting plain, lace), PT Sinar Continental (printing apparel), PT Excellence Qualities Yarn (yarn).

Kemudian, PT Indo Hasasi (linen,cotton), PT Kewalram (embroidered products), dan PT Mayer Indah Indonesia (lace, embroidery, tulle, & tricot).

“Untuk memaksimalkan promosi produk tekstil ini kita melibatkan Atase Perdagangan dan Indonesian Trade and Promotion Center (ITPC) di wilayah Eropa serta Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia,” ujar Arlinda.

Secara global nilai ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia tahun 2015 ke dunia mencapai US$ 12,28 miliar. Sementara pada semester I 2016, nilai ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia sebesar US$ 6,22 miliar.

Indonesia berada di urutan 17 sebagai pemasok tekstil dan produk tekstil dunia dengan share sebesar 1,58%. Sementara itu, Prancis adalah pengimpor tekstil dan produk tekstil ke-6 dunia dengan nilai sebesar US$ 28,81 miliar, atau 4,04% dari total impor tekstil dan produk tekstil dunia.
