The Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Trade (Trade) is still looking for opportunities to export to Jordan. So far trade between Indonesia and Jordan still controlled by Jordan. Secretary General of National Export Development Ministry of Trade Ari Satria said, trade between Indonesia and Jordan within the last five years is still in deficit.


So, to boost the volume of exports to Jordan, Indonesia needs to see what products are imported Jordan of the world.


Jordan imports from the world, among others cars, automotive products and spare parts, gold bullion, telephone transmitter, textiles and textile products, wheat, rice and mutton or lamb. "These products have also been exported to many countries Indonesia. Therefore, Indonesia can meet the needs of the Jordanian market is, "said Ari.


Indonesia's non-oil primary commodity exports to Jordan include plywood, pasta, paper and paper products, instant noodles, tuna fish processed products, and tires. While imports of non-oil products from Jordan Indonesia include chemical compounds, such as calcium phosphate, phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, and electronic instruments.


Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the total value of non-oil trade between Indonesia and Jordan in 2011-2015 showed a fluctuating growth. The value of Indonesian non-oil exports to Jordan in 2015 amounted to 95.23 million US dollars.



Meanwhile, Indonesia's non-oil imports from Jordan in the same period stood at 160.78 million dollars. In the period January-June 2016, total trade between Indonesia and Jordan totaled 139.4 million US dollars, with the details of Indonesia's exports to Jordan amounted to 48.73 million US dollars, while Indonesia's imports from Jordan amounted to 90.72 million US dollars.



Peluang Ekspor Indonesia Ke Yordania


Pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) masih mencari peluang ekspor ke Yordania. Sebab selama ini perdagangan antara Indonesia dan Yordania masih dikuasai oleh Yordania. Sekretaris Direktorat Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional Kemendag Ari Satria mengatakan, perdagangan Indonesia dengan Yordania dalam kurun waktu lima tahun belakangan ini masih mengalami defisit.


‎Maka, untuk menggenjot volume ekspor ke Yordania, Indonesia perlu melihat apa produk yang diimpor Yordania dari dunia.


Impor Yordania dari dunia antara lain mobil, produk otomotif dan spare parts, emas batangan, transmitter telepon, tekstil dan produk tekstil, gandum, beras, serta daging kambing atau domba. “Produk-produk tersebut juga telah diekspor Indonesia ke berbagai negara. Oleh karena itu, Indonesia juga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasar Yordania sebenarnya,” kata Ari.


Komoditas ekspor utama nonmigas Indonesia ke Yordania meliputi kayu lapis, pasta, kertas dan produk kertas, produk mi instan, produk olahan ikan tuna, dan ban. Sedangkan impor produk nonmigas Indonesia dari Yordania meliputi senyawa kimia, seperti kalsium fosfat, asam fosfat, potasium klorida, dan alat elektronik.


Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), nilai total perdagangan nonmigas Indonesia-Yordania pada periode 2011-2015 memperlihatkan pertumbuhan yang fluktuatif. Nilai ekspor nonmigas Indonesia ke Yordania pada 2015 tercatat sebesar 95,23 juta dolar AS.


Sementara itu, impor nonmigas Indonesia dari Yordania pada periode yang sama tercatat sebesar 160,78 juta dolar AS. Pada periode Januari-Juni 2016, nilai total perdagangan Indonesia-Yordania tercatat sebesar 139,4 juta dolar AS, dengan perincian ekspor Indonesia ke Yordania sebesar 48,73 juta dolar AS, sementara impor Indonesia dari Yordania sebesar 90,72 juta‎ dolar AS.
