Floods occurred in the District of Baleendah, Dayeuh old-fashioned, Bojongsoang, Bandung regency last few days resulted in the activity of production and distribution of textile industry in the area to be disturbed. Secretary of the Indonesian Textile Association (API), West Java, Kevin Hartanto said flooding in South Bandung area disrupt the company's activities are located in areas prone to flooding.

"Flooding is now not enter the factory but causing traffic to be disrupted so that the employee be arriving late or not working at all," he said, Tuesday (1/11).

He said, the loss experienced by the textile entrepreneurs in South Bandung, namely the distribution of goods to be disrupted because of flooding that caused the vehicle carrying the goods was hard to pass. According to him, the floods disrupt production and distribution.

In contrast to the flood of 2005, when a flood coming into the plant and can damage the company's production, while its own losses are difficult to quantify. He said efforts to relocate the factory is not a simple thing to do because the machine used may not be moved like a machine in the garment sector.

Kevin added textile industry activity was disrupted by the floods resulting contribution to the national textile West Java which initially fell 60 percent to 40 percent.
