Indonesian Fashion Chamber Celebrates First Birthday PDF Print E-mail

The fashion industry in Indonesia is actively developed as an effort to improve national economic growth and prosperity. Indonesia was targeted as one of the fashion center of the world in 2025 with the early stages of a center of Muslim fashion (modest fashion) through craft ready to wear fashion, ready to wear products that optimize local forces.

 

With the goal of accelerating the development and construction of the fashion sector in Indonesia, Indonesian organization formed Fashion Chamber (IFC) on 16 December 2015. Not only embodies the fashion designer who has been established as well as the younger generation, but also the relevant actors of this industry, namely designers accessories, shoes, bags, textiles, to the community that surrounds this area.

 

Since officially formed, IFC has more than 150 members spread in 12 Chapter located in major cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Makassar, Pontianak and Malang.

 

As a dynamic organization, IFC established a synergistic collaboration with stakeholders ranging from government to the private sector. IFC is built with the spirit of togetherness, pooling ideas and concepts as outlined in the various programs and activities for a common goal. Not only intended for internal organization, but also for all actors meaningful fashion industry and the wider community.

 

In the field of Research and Development, IFC consistently doing research on an ecosystem-based fashion industry that refers to the concept of innovation, branding, local wealth, and concern for the environment. Among others, in cooperation with the Creative Economy (Bekraf) as well as the association of interior designers, products, and textiles in designing reference Indonesia Trend Forecasting

 

In the field of competence, IFC emphasis on improving the quality of human resources not only in terms of creativity but also appropriate fashion ecosystem that is the creation, production, distribution, and marketing. Among other things through on Trainer Training program with the Government, namely the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Dekranas.

 

In the field of Business, IFC led to the creation of a fashion business that refers to the concept of innovation, branding, local wealth, and concern for the environment. Among others by developing business models (business model) in collaboration with the textile and garment industry, namely Argo Manunggal in the release of four brands of ready to wear are expected to continue to incubate new brands that magnitude on local content.

 

Not to forget, the IFC held a trade show as a forum for the business of fashion in the country to increase its business potential, among others, the event Muslim Fashion Festival Indonesia (MuFFest) and Ramadan in Style aimed at improving Muslim fashion industry in Indonesia as a concrete step in realizing Indonesia as the fashion center of the Muslim world. IFC cooperates with the Agency Creative Economy and Ministry of Commerce in the exhibition Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2016.

 

 

Indonesian Fashion Chamber Rayakan Ulang Tahun Pertama

 

Industri fashion di Indonesia tengah giat dikembangkan sebagai upaya meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Indonesia pun ditargetkan sebagai salah satu pusat fashion dunia di tahun 2025 dengan tahap awal menjadi pusat fashion muslim (modest fashion) melalui ready to wear craft fashion, produk ready to wear yang mengoptimalkan kekuatan lokal.

 

Dengan tujuan mengakselerasi pengembangan dan pembangunan sektor fashion di Indonesia, dibentuk organisasi Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) pada tanggal 16 Desember tahun 2015. Tak hanya untuk mewadahi para desainer fashion yang telah mapan maupun generasi muda, namun juga para pelaku terkait industri ini, yaitu desainer aksesori, sepatu, tas, tekstil, hingga komunitas yang melingkupi bidang ini.

 

Sejak resmi terbentuk, IFC telah memiliki lebih dari 150 anggota yang tersebar dalam 12 Chapter yang berada di sejumlah kota besar di Indonesia, antara lain DKI Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Makassar, Pontianak dan Malang.
 

Sebagai suatu organisasi yang dinamis, IFC menjalin kolaborasi yang sinergis dengan para stakeholder mulai dari pihak pemerintah hingga swasta. IFC dibangun dengan semangat kebersamaan, penyatuan ide dan konsep yang dituangkan dalam berbagai program serta kegiatan untuk tujuan bersama. Bukan hanya ditujukan bagi internal organisasi, tetapi bermakna pula bagi seluruh pelaku industri fashion dan masyarakat luas.

 

Dalam bidang Riset dan Pengembangan, IFC konsisten melakukan penelitian berbasis pada ekosistem industri fashion yang mengacu pada konsep inovasi, branding, kekayaan lokal, dan kepedulian akan lingkungan. Antara lain bekerjasama dengan Badan Ekonomi Kreatif (Bekraf) serta asosiasi desainer interior, produk, dan tekstil dalam merancang acuan Indonesia Trend Forecasting.

 

Dalam bidang Kompetensi, IFC menekankan pada meningkatkan kualitas SDM bukan hanya dari segi kreativitas namun juga sesuai ekosistem fashion yaitu kreasi, produksi, distribusi, dan pemasaran. Antara lain melalui program Training on Trainer dengan pihak Pemerintah yaitu Kementerian Perindustrian, Kementerian Perdagangan, Dekranas.

 

Dalam bidang Bisnis, IFC mengarahkan pada terciptanya bisnis fashion yang mengacu pada konsep inovasi, branding, kekayaan lokal, dan kepedulian akan lingkungan. Antara lain dengan mengembangkan model usaha (business model) melalui kolaborasi dengan pihak industri textile & garmen, yakni Argo Manunggal dalam merilis empat merek ready to wear yang diharapkan dapat terus berlanjut menetaskan merek-merek baru yang berkekuatan pada lokal konten.

 

Tak ketinggalan, IFC menggelar pameran dagang sebagai wadah bagi pelaku usaha fashion di tanah air untuk meningkatkan potensi bisnisnya, antara lain ajang Muslim Fashion Festival Indonesia (MuFFest) dan Ramadhan in Style yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan industri busana muslim di Indonesia sebagai langkah konkret dalam mewujudkan Indonesia sebagai pusat fashion muslim dunia. IFC pun bekerjasama dengan Badan Ekonomi Kreatif dan Kementrian Perdagangan dalam pameran Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2016.
