In 2016, growth in the industrial sector is promising. One was the chemical industry, textile and miscellaneous (IKTA). According to the Director General of the Ministry of Industry IKTA, Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono, from the aspect of industrial population, throughout the year there have been 486 units of the chemical industry, textiles, and various growing.

"This year we grew 486 industrial units, while the 415 and Ilmate Agro (Industrial metals, machinery, transport equipment, and electronics) 327 units," Sigit said in a written statement on Friday (30.12.16).

Then in terms of investment. IKTA investment growth in the sector by the end of this year reached Rp 89.2 trillion, while Agro Rp 65 trillion and Rp 75 trillion Ilmate.

And about the energy absorption. Sigit said, until the third quarter of 2016 employment in the sector IKTA reached 263,000, while 75,000 people Agro and Ilmate 226,000 people.

"The performance indicators we identify three things that, yes this is certainly encouraging," said Sigit.

However, Sigit said, there are some obstacles that hinder the development of the sector IKTA until the turn of the year. One of the obstacles that exist in the field of textiles.

The local textile industry confronted about the number of imported fabrics climbed to 35% from the previous year. In addition, illegal clothing imports are increasing.

Sigit hope, imported fabrics and illegal imports can be minimized next year. So IKTA sector, especially in the field of textiles can grow well.

"Early next year I hope this issue can be addressed. If the imports that we can minimize the textile course we can grow better," said Sigit.

Lalu soal penyerapan tenaga.
