Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API), Ade Sudrajat said, employment in labor-intensive sectors, the increase in the purchasing power gives rise to the domestic textile consumption. The increasing purchasing power of textile products into the moment of awakening for the textile industry and textile products (TPT) in export markets and the domestic market this year

 

"Various customs policy and the Ministry of Commerce also served to increase the national textile consumption," said Ade in Jakarta, Friday (01/27/2017).

 

Domestic market share, according to Ade, could rise from 30% to 40%.

 

"If a lot of labor absorption, meaning the rising purchasing power and consumption rises. But it is not too high, because the usual flight of the vehicle to the first," he said.

 

Sementra Minister of Industry (Industry), Airlangga Hartanto said it was preparing an incentive to boost the growth of the national textile industry.

 

Some of the possible incentives with the most potential to boost the export value of textile industry, among others exemption of value added tax (VAT) for raw material export-oriented textile industry, and gas pricing policy is the economic scale.

 

"VAT Exemption aims to make textile and apparel producers to switch from imported raw materials to the production of raw materials in the country. Meanwhile, gas at low prices can reduce the burden on employers in expending energy costs for electricity rates are quite expensive," said Airlangga.

 

 

Daya Beli Produk Tekstil Meningkat, Industri Tanda Tekstil Bangkit

 

 

Ketua Umum Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API), Ade Sudrajat mengatakan, penyerapan tenaga kerja di sektor padat karya, kenaikan daya beli masyarakat memberikan kenaikan pada konsumsi TPT dalam negeri. Meningkatnya daya beli masyarakat terhadap produk tekstil menjadi momen kebangkitan bagi industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) di pasar ekspor dan pasar domestik tahun ini

 

"Berbagai kebijakan bea cukai dan Kementerian Perdagangan juga berperan meningkatkan konsumsi TPT nasional," kata Ade  di Jakarta, Jumat (27/1/2017).

 

Pangsa pasar dalam negeri, menurut Ade, bisa naik dari 30% menjadi 40%.

 

"Kalau tenaga kerja banyak terserap, berarti daya beli naik dan konsumsi naik. Tapi memang tidak terlalu tinggi, karena biasanya larinya ke kendaraan dulu," papar dia.

 

Sementra Menteri Perindustrian (Menperin), Airlangga Hartarto mengatakan, pihaknya tengah menyiapkan insentif untuk mendongkrak pertumbuhan industri TPT nasional.

 

Beberapa kemungkinan insentif yang paling berpotensi mendongkrak nilai ekspor industri TPT, antara lain pembebasan pajak pertambahan nilai (PPN) bagi bahan baku industri TPT yang berorientasi ekspor, dan kebijakan harga gas yang berskala keekonomian.

 

"Pembebasan PPN bertujuan membuat produsen tekstil dan pakaian jadi beralih dari bahan baku impor ke bahan baku produksi dalam negeri. Sedangkan, gas dengan harga yang murah dapat mengurangi beban pengusaha dalam pengeluaran biaya energi karena tarif listrik yang cukup mahal," ujar Airlangga.
