Africa could become an alternative country export destination if America closes imported from outside the country. This needs to be prepared early in order to remain absorbed DIY products featured in the global market. Head of Representative Office (KPW) Bank Indonesia (BI) DIY Budi Hanoto view, the potential for an increase in external demand for export overseas or potentially strengthened.

The indication of the economic outlook for the United States and China are starting to improve as well as rising prices for oil and non-energy commodity prices.

"DIY export market share to the US and China are still large by utilizing the momentum can be maintained," he said.

But exports to countries such as Africa and Latin America does need to be explored with regard standardization of products, development of supporting factors leading sectors, and human resources.

Furthermore, Budi said the bank will continue to watch developments and economic policy direction Trump, with priority on maintaining macroeconomic stability and financial system in the country. Related Africa, it said that the furniture and textile commodities had a chance to be marketed to Africa. As well as leather goods because of their superior products DIY.

Indonesian Furniture Entrepreneurs Association (Asmindo) DIY Endro Wardoyo said that the African market has become the target market diversification of the business community of DIY furniture. "That's the direction our market diversification program there," said Endro. Some employers also have entered the African market since the beginning.

Ekspor Indonesia : Peluang Alternatif Ekspor Ke  Afrika

Asosiasi Pengusaha Mebel Indonesia (Asmindo) DIY Endro Wardoyo mengatakan, pasar Afrika memang menjadi target diversifikasi pasar dari kalangan pengusaha mebel DIY.
