Dalam ekspo yang digulirkan di Hall 7 Singapore Expo, Changi, Singapura itu Kementerian yang di-remote Menpar Arief Yahya itu bakal tampil all out.

 

"Natas Travel Fair 2017 adalah momentum potensial untuk berpromosi. Kami lakukan ini untuk menyasar wisman asal Singapura. Kami fokus pada keindahan bahari dan kekayaan tekstil kita seperti batik asli Indonesia,” ujar Deputi Pemasaran Mancanegara I Gde Pitana yang didampingi Asisten Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Pasar Asia Tenggara Kemenpar Rizki Handayani.

 

Pitana mengatakan, perhelatan ini merupakan tempat yang sangat potensial untuk melanjutkan program promosi Kemenpar yang sebelumnya fokus pada branding dan advertising.

 

NTF 2017 merupakan pameran business to business dan business to customer yang memungkinkan pelaku industri di Indonesia memperluas jejaring pasar mereka dan menawarkan paket-paket wisata.

 

"Kami bersama industri wisata Indonesia akan melakukan program B to C. Program tersebut adalah pelayanan informasi, demo, workshop di mini stage. Booth Indonesia juga menyajikan games, digital interaktif berupa virtual reality 360, gift redemption, refreshment, public relations-ing activities. Selain membagikan souvenir, strategi komunikasi lainnya adalah menyebar booklet, tourist map, calender of event dalam bahasa Inggris," tambah Rizki.

 

Untuk desainnya, Kemenpar mengusung kemegahan dan keindahan Perahu Phinisi. Kapal suku Makasar, Sulawesi Selatan ini merepresentasikan kejayaan nenek moyang bangsa Indonesia dalam menaklukkan samudera dan menjelajah negara-negara di dunia.

 

”Kapal Phinisi adalah khas dan original Indonesia. Kapal kayu besar yang sampai saat ini pun masih diproduksi masyarakat pesisir. Ini akan terus menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi wisman yang hadir,” ujar Rizky.

 

Selain Kapal Phinisi, senjata promosi Kemenpar akan mengedepankan kekayaan bahari.

 

Menurut Kiki, Indonesia adalah negara yang memilik garis pantai terpanjang dalam peta coral trianggle dibandingkan enam negara lainnya yakni Philipina, Malaysia, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea, dan Kepulauan Salomon.

 

Indonesia sendiri memiliki luas total terumbu karang sekitar 51.000 kilometer persegi yang menyumbang 18 persen luas total terumbu karang dunia dan 65 persen luas total di coral triangle.

 

Saat ini, Kepulauan Raja Ampat di Papua Barat merupakan kepulauan dengan jumlah jenis terumbu karang tertinggi di dunia dengan 537 jenis karang dan 1.074 jenis ikan.

 

Bahkan, taman laut ini menjadi salah satu destinasi menyelam  paling digemarai berdasarkan survei majalah underwater terbesar di dunia, Dive Megazine.

 

Selain itu, terkait dengan promosi tekstil nusantara, ini merupakan cara yang cerdas. Seperti diketahui, perkembangan saat ini para perancang atau desainer mulai memanfaatkan kembali kain tradisional Indonesia pada karya-karyanya.
