Unions number of areas in West Java, a crowd began to demand the implementation of the Sectoral Minimum Wage District / City (UMSK). On the other hand, the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) considered it difficult to implement because of the leading sectors in each region is not yet agreed.

Apindo chairman Jabar Dedy Widjaja said, sectoral wage is not governed by the regulation, but it was an agreement between the unions and similar associations. If no agreement could not be implemented.

"In Bandung this highway, as well as a number of other areas there is no UMSK. So, UMSK is now proposed that workers no foundation so that it only refers to the implementation of the MSEs," he said.

According to him, when there was no agreement between unions and employers' associations such as the type of textile associations, government can not suppress and impose its authority. Because it involves UMSK no rules.

Furthermore he questioned the measuring instrument industry leading sectors in an area, whether it is associated with huge profits, if the big fortunately nominal whatever should be made clear.

In addition, it will implement a minimum wage district / city and provincial minimum wage was passed some time ago in the next year.

Dedy explained that the implementation needs to be realized in order to avoid friction between employers and workers.

"We are ready to implement it because it was as mandated by the rules," he concluded.

Apindo: Upah Sektoral Tak Bisa Dilaksanakan
