National Textile Sales Predicted to Rise 10 Percent PDF Print E-mail

National textile sales in 2017 are predicted to experience growth of 10 percent compared to 2016. This was driven because some employers already take advantage of sales in the network (online / online)."With 'e-commerce' or online sales are growing, we are optimistic that the national textile industry increased sharply this year, at least up 10 percent from the previous year only 2.2 percent," said General Manager tekstile One Indonesia Desy Natalia Soeteja in Surabaya Sunday (26/3).

 

Desy says Indonesia's textile industry technological literacy for granted, especially some companies home and abroad are already utilizing the technology for market penetration. Plus any policy restrictions on textile imports from abroad, which makes a lot of textile retail penetration through the system of "e-commerce".

 

"We are of Bandung is also going to start to open the service 'e-commerse' April 2017. Because we are confident retail fabric from China, Vietnam and India is not a scourge again for the original fabric manufacturer in Indonesia," he said.

 

Desy said all consumers can already feel the imported goods market is now difficult to find because of the policy ban on imports of fabric, so that people would not want to be looking for fabric in the country, as well as using online.

 

"I also saw some local governments to fully support growth in their respective regions, such as East Java and North Borneo," he said.

 

Desy admitted to the tailors are now also begun excited because local governments enables SMEs capital, either through regional development agencies (BPBD) or more. "Therefore, we are optimistic that it can grow, because so far the tailors SMEs complain of the difficulties of capital production. But if the macro policy support like this, no more reason for us to not grow significantly, "he said.

 

 

Penjualan Tekstil Nasional Diprediksi Naik 10 Persen

 

 

Penjualan tekstil nasional tahun 2017 diprediksi mengalami pertumbuhan 10 persen dibanding 2016. Hal ini didorong lantaran beberapa pengusaha sudah memanfaatkan penjualan dalam jaringan (daring/online).

 

“Dengan ‘e-commerce’ atau penjualan daring yang berkembang ini, kami optimistis industri tekstil nasional tahun ini meningkat tajam, setidaknya naik 10 persen dari tahun sebelumnya yang hanya 2,2 persen,” kata General Manager Tekstile One Indonesia Desy Natalia Soeteja di Surabaya, Ahad (26/3).

 

Desy mengatakan industri tekstil Indonesia memang sudah seharusnya melek teknologi, terlebih beberapa perusahaan dalam maupun luar negeri sudah memanfaatkan teknologi untuk penetrasi pasar. Ditambah adanya kebijakan pembatasan impor tekstil dari luar negeri, yang membuat banyak ritel tekstil melakukan penetrasi lewat sistem “e-commerce”.

 

“Kami dari Bandung juga bakal mulai membuka layanan ‘e-commerse’ April 2017. Sebab kami yakin ritel kain dari China, Vietnam dan India bukan menjadi momok lagi bagi produsen kain asli Indonesia,” katanya.

 

Desy mengatakan semua konsumen sudah bisa merasakan pasar barang impor yang kini sulit dicari karena kebijakan larangan impor kain, sehingga masyarakat mau enggak mau akan mencari kain dalam negeri, serta menggunakan daring.

 

“Saya juga melihat beberapa pemerintah daerah mendukung penuh pertumbuhan di daerahnya masing masing, seperti di Jawa Timur maupun Kalimantan Utara,” katanya.

 

Desy mengaku para penjahit kini juga sudah mulai bergairah karena pemerintah daerah telah mempermudah modal UMKM, baik lewat badan pembangunan daerah (BPBD) atau lainnya. “Oleh karena itu, kami optimistis bisa tumbuh, sebab selama ini para penjahit UMKM mengeluhkan kesulitan modal produksi. Namun kalau kebijakan makro mendukung seperti ini, bukan lagi alasan bagi kami untuk tidak tumbuh secara signifikan,” katanya.
