In the midst of the government's hard work to stem the negative impact of the virtual world, there is a perceived positive side the business world. Especially in textile commodities. Industry that had drawn due to the onslaught of cheap foreign products MEA valid post December 31, 2015, start reaping the rewards of marketing breakthrough advantage of cyberspace.

The textile industry along with footwear that had accounted for the largest number of layoffs in East Java in 2016, is predicted to begin to squirm its sales this year. Moreover, the full support of East Java Provincial Government through various policies, one of which ban imports of fabric.

"Much like the national textile industry in East Java, have technological literacy. Competition with similar products from other countries faced with marketing strategies through online networks, "explained one of the leading textile companies from West Java, Desy Natalia Soeteja, Sunday (26/03/2017) night.

Desy predicts national sales figures up 10 per cent from 2016. "With e-commerce or online sales are growing, we are optimistic that the national textile industry increased sharply this year, at least up 10 percent from the previous year only 2.2 percent," he said.

Desy says Indonesia's textile industry technological literacy for granted, especially some companies home and abroad are already utilizing the technology for market penetration. Plus any policy restrictions on textile imports from abroad, which makes a lot of penetration through the textile retail e-commerce system.

"We are of Bandung is also going to start to open the e-commerse April 2017. Because we are confident retail fabric from China, Vietnam and India have become a threat to native Indonesia fabric producers," he said.

Desy said all consumers can already feel the imported goods market is now difficult to find because of the policy ban on imports of fabric, so that people are encouraged to look for products in the country through a network of virtual worlds. "I also saw some local governments to fully support growth in their respective regions, such as East Java and North Borneo," he said.

Desy admitted to the tailors are now also begun excited because local governments enables SMEs capital, either through regional development agencies (BPBD) or more. "Therefore, we are optimistic that it can grow, because so far the tailors SMEs complain of the difficulties of capital production. But if the macro policy support like this, no more reason for us to not grow significantly, "he said.

Data of the Indonesian Textile Association (API), East Java, the garment industry in the first half of 2016 recorded an increase of 8.17 percent (BPS East Java). This increase correlates with the number of people. But in the product, eastern Java still under West Java and Central Java in seizing the domestic market.

The export market also targeted. Even noted 70 percent of garment production is distributed to overseas markets. In the appeal of other exporting countries such as Vietnam and China, Indonesia, the higher quality product. Only if the domestic market continuously battered with

cheap price, it is not impossible that the durability is reduced.

In fact, referring to the data of the Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry) in 2015, the textile industry and textile products (TPT) is now able to provide 70 percent of the national demand and employ about 2.79 million workers. Export of textile industry in 2015 reached USD12,28 billion or 8.17 percent of total export value.

Investment in the textile sector in 2015 reached Rp 573 trillion, up 16.9 percent from the realization of investments throughout 2014. The Ministry of Industry is targeting the textile, leather and footwear also grow 6.33 percent this year contributed 2.43 percent to the gross domestic product ( PDB).

Industri Tekstil Jawa Timur Kembali Bergairah Karena Teknologi

Data Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API) Jawa Timur, industri garmen pada semester I 2016 tercatat meningkat 8,17 persen (BPS Jawa Timur).

Pasar ekspor pun dibidik.
