PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) is committed to maintaining its position as a market leader in textile & garman industry in Southeast Asia. In addition to increasing domestic production capacity, the Company is ready to build factories in Cambodia.

The business of an integrated textile company headquartered in Solo seems to be increasingly stretched in the international market. Currently Sritex has been recorded to 55 countries export destination and has more than 100 textile products & garment. As many as 35 countries, Sritex is believed to supply military clothing and supplies.

These countries are spread across Europe, America, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

The achievement did not seem to satisfy the listed issuers having market capitalization of Rp4.76 trillion in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sritex's management will continue to expand its market reach, both in encroached countries, as well as other countries that have not been reached. This effort is also done to maintain the position of the Company as the largest textile & garment producer in Southeast Asia.

To support the marketing step, the addition of production capacity is a strategy that must be done. This year, the company plans to increase its production capacity in all business lines, including adding spinning capacity up to 16% from 566 thousand bales to 654 thousand bales. As for the finishing division, the company will increase its capacity by 100% to 240 million yards per year.

The weaning division, Sritex will add a minimum capacity of 50% from 120 million meters to 180 million meters. As for the garment division the production capacity will be increased to 114% to 30 million pieces. Sritex Management expects that the additional production capacity will contribute to the company's revenue figure in book year 2017.

The company has budgeted US $ 50 million to US $ 86 million for capital expenditure to realize the work plan. Not only the addition of capacity at production facilities in the country, Sritex plans to expand overseas. The destination country is Cambodia.

In the country, Sritex will build a textile and garment factory for military apparel by forming a joint venture called Sritex (Cambodia) Limited. The cooperation was undertaken with Cambodian Interior Ministry General Mao Bunarin.

The agreement between the two sides was a follow-up to talks between President Joko Widodo and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen during the 2015 Asia-Africa Conference. Projected transactions with the Cambodian military amount to US $ 50 million per year.

Related to the performance in this year, Sritex's management once revealed can book sales of US $ 680 million. This figure shows an increase of 6% -8% from last year's sales. The total revenue is estimated to be dominantly contributed by export sales which reached 60%. The rest is obtained from the domestic market.

Last year, Sritex recorded a significant net profit growth, due to the declining value of the rupiah against the US dollar reaching Rp14,700 per US dollar last year.

PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex), Tambah Kapasitas Untuk Pacu Kinerja
