Government Targets Chemical, Textile and Multifarious Industries to Reach 5.4% in 2017 PDF Print E-mail

For example, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. As a national industry, will pour funds of USD6 billion or around Rp80 trillion until 2021 in order to increase production capacity. This year, the company will invest USD150 million to increase the capacity of butadiene by 50 thousand tons per year and 400 thousand tons of polyethylene per year.

 

Later, South Korea's petrochemical industry Lotte Chemical Titan will invest USD 3-4 billion or around Rp52-53 trillion to produce naphtha cracker with total capacity of 2 million tons per year. Chemical raw materials are required to produce ethylene, propylenedan other derivative products.

 

In the first quarter of 2017, the investment level of IKTA sector reached Rp22.17 trillion. Meanwhile, the target for the total. Realization of IKTA sector investment in 2016 reached Rp122, 5 billion with a contribution of about 37.24 percent of the growth of the national non-oil processing industry.

Kementerian Perindustrian industri pertumbuhan, tekstil dan aneka (IKTA) akan mencapai 5,4 persen sepanjang tahun 2017. Capaian ini dari maraknya investasi dan ekspansi di sektor strategis tersebut.

 

Industri kimia memberikan kontribusi pertumbuhan paling besar dibandingkan sektor IKTA lainnya. Apalagi, dengan adanya program Jaminan Sosial Nasional (JKN) membuat investasi di sektor ini menarik dan beragam tetap, demikian Dirjen IKTA Kemenperin Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono di Jakarta, Kamis kemarin.

 

Meski secara umum di sektor IKTA yang paling tinggi adalah industri kimia. Namun, saat ini Kemenperin juga memacu pengembangan industri lain agar dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhannya masing-masing. Kami terus meningkatkan daya saing dan produktivitas seluruh industri agar bisa sama-sama maju dan berkembang, "jelas Sigit.

 

Kemenperin mencatat, pertumbuhan IKTA pada kuartal pertama tahun 2017 sebesar 5,16 persen atau naik 0,05 persen dibanding periode yang sama tahun 2016. Sigit pun merinci, pertumbuhan tersebut ditopang oleh sektor industri barang 10,40 persen .

 

Kemudian disusul industri karet, barang dari karet dan plastik sebesar 7,52 persen, serta industri kulit, barang dari kulit dan alas kaki 7,41 persen, ungkapnya dalam majunya Kementerian Perindustrian RI.

 

Sebelumnya, Menteri Perindustrian Airlangga Hartarto mengatakan, Kemenperin memprioritaskan percepatan pembangunan industri petrokimia di dalam negeri pada tahun 2017. Sebab, sektor strategis ini sangat penting karena bahan bahan baku bagi manufaktur hilir seperti industri plastik, tekstil, cat, kosmetika hingga farmasi.

 

Untuk itu, kami mendorong investasi industri petrokimia agar bisa terealisasi tahun ini. Apalagi, pabrik petrokimia terakhir dibangun pada tahun 1998, ungkapnya.

 

Airlangga menyebutkan, ada beberapa perusahaan petrokimia yang telah dilaporkan kepada dirinya akan segera menanamkan modalnya di indonesia dalam upaya menambah kapasitas dan membangun pabrik baru. Ekspansi ini bisa memenuhi kebutuhan bahan baku kimia nafkah di dalam negeri sehingga nanti kita tidak perlu lagi impor, tegasnya.

 

Misalnya, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. Selaku industri nasional, akan menggelontorkan dana sebesar USD6 miliar atau sekitar Rp80 triliun sampai tahun 2021 dalam rangka peningkatan kapasitas produksi. Pada tahun ini, perseroan akan berinvestasi sebesar USD150 juta untuk menambah kapasitas butadiena sebanyak 50 ribu ton per tahun dan polietilene 400 ribu ton per tahun.

 

Kemudian, industri petrokimia asal Korea Selatan, Lotte Chemical Titan akan merealisasikan investasinya sebesar USD 3-4 miliar atau sekitar Rp52-53 triliun untuk memproduksi nafta cracker dengan total kapasitas sebanyak 2 juta ton per tahun. Bahan baku kimia tersebut diperlukan untuk menghasilkan ethylene, propylenedan produk turunan lainnya.

 

Pada kuartal pertama tahun 2017, tingkat investasi sektor IKTA mencapai Rp22,17 triliun. Sementara, sasaran untuk total. Realisasi investasi sektor IKTA tahun 2016 mencapai Rp122,5 triliun dengan kontribusi sekitar 37,24 persen terhadap pertumbuhan industri pengolahan non migas nasional.
