Ade explained, the selection to focus on the Chinese market, because the largest population in the world. Reached 1.3 billion people, with per capita income increasing. The middle class in China is about 200 million to 300 million people.

 

"It means the same as the entire population of Indonesia, so the middle class of all that, very potential," he said.

 

He hopes, with the focus on the textile market in China, Indonesia's exports could increase to US $ 1-2 billion.

“Kita masuk melalui mereka, baik Uniqlo, H&M, Mark and Spencer, tapi made in Indonesia. Kalau masuk (pakai merek) sendiri susah, baik dari permodalan atau yang lain,” katanya.

 

Keinginan pelaku usaha meningkatkan ekspor tekstil ke Tiongkok, sambungnya, karena belum digarap maksimal. Rencananya akan dimulai tahun ini. “Kita ingin fokus meningkatkan ekspor ke Tiongkok,” tuturnya.

 

Ade menjelaskan, pemilihan untuk fokus garap pasar Tiongkok, karena jumlah penduduknya terbesar di dunia. Mencapai 1,3 miliar jiwa, dengan income per kapita terus meningkat. Kelas menengah di Tiongkok sekitar 200 juta hingga 300 juta orang.

 

"Artinya sama dengan seluruh penduduk Indonesia. Jadi kelas menengah semua itu, sangat potensial,” tegasnya.

 

Dia berharap, dengan fokus garap pasar tekstil di Tiongkok, ekspor Indonesia mampu meningkat menjadi US$ 1-2 miliar.
