Distressed Textile Product Sales Because Government Policy PDF Print E-mail

Sales of textile products are pressured by government policies tightening oversight of taxable entrepreneurs after the end of the tax amnesty period.

Textile manufacturers can not distribute their products to retail stores that have not been registered as taxable entrepreneurs.

"It's been two three months, if we distribute the goods to retailers that are non-PKP, immediately can be suspected of criminal taxation. But if you can not sell to retail and non PKP retailers, so we continue to sell the goods to whom? "Said Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association Ade Sudrajat.

According to him, sales of textile products are highly dependent on small-scale retailers and retailers who are classified outside of taxable entrepreneurs. The current rules, businesses that are subject to value added taxes are those whose turnover is above Rp4.8 billion. "Average retailers they let alone PKP, maybe many who have NPWP just yet."

Ade said tax officials tightened surveillance by extracting textile factory sales data over the past few months. "Tax people pursue our transaction data to look for proof-of-catch evidence for retail and retailers. The target is retail and merchants, but we are uprooted in obok, "he said.

Tightening supervision of the Directorate General of Taxation is also what makes retailers and retailers reluctant to absorb textile products from domestic manufacturers. According to him, retail finally chose to purchase textile products from importers. "Already diokok obok so eventually the retailer so do not want to spend our production," he said.

According to him, sales of domestic textile manufacturers plunged by 30% due to the policy. "Never our warehouse until Lebaran, just this year. It's obviously very annoying sales are now getting limping, "he said.

Ade asked the government to raise the limits of taxable entrepreneurs to encourage small retailers unencumbered by taxes. "Do not like now the new tax amnesty finished 2-3 months, after the small little direct was pursued. Yes our sales are affected. "

Penjualan Produk Tekstil Tertekan Kebijakan Pemerintah
