Foreign Exchange Increases, Bali Textile Product Exports Reach US $ 6.22 Million PDF Print E-mail

Exported non-knitted garments capable of earning foreign exchange of 6.22 million US dollars during May 2017, an increase of 1.169 million US dollars or 23.12 percent over the previous month, as April 2017 pocketed 5.059 million US dollars.

 

"The acquisition compared to the same month in the previous year also increased by 5.723 million US dollars or 61.94 percent, because the shipment of the hand-crafted hands of Balinese craftsmen in May 2016 contributed 3.846 million US dollars," said the Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Bali Province, Adi Nugroho .

 

He said the apparel is not a knit of the results of small-scale business households are able to contribute 12.25 percent of total exports of Bali of 50.84 million US dollars during May 2017, an increase of 26.84 percent over the previous month recorded 40.082 million US dollars.

 

The US market absorbed most of the finished garments not 24.23 percent, followed by Singapore 11.08 percent, Australia 8.87 percent, Hongkong 6.91 percent and France 6.27 percent.

 

It also reached the Japanese market 2.31 percent, China 0.68 percent, Germany 1.15 percent, the Netherlands 1.27 percent, Spain 5.73 percent and 31.19 percent the rest penetrate to various other countries in the world.

 

Adi Nugroho added that the apparel traded abroad is not factory production, but made manually so it has more value for overseas consumers, especially from the United States, Singapore and Australia which has been the most widely purchased.

 

Bali Provincial Industry and Trade Office conducts design training involving crafters and small and medium micro enterprises (SMEs) as an effort to increase the acquisition of non-oil exports of this region.

 

The event involves 13 types of training emphasizing efforts to improve the design (design) of various types of superior products of this region, including textile and textile products (TPT).

 

The effort was to provide assistance of designer fashion experts (designers) for craftsmen weaving business. This is done by implementing five types of training, namely design training and diversification of weaving products, silk yarn dyeing, endek weaving and songket weaving craft.

Denpasar- Bali mengekspor pakaian jadi bukan rajutan mampu meraup devisa sebesar 6,22 juta dolar AS selama bulan Mei 2017, meningkat 1,169 juta dolar AS atau 23,12 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya, karena April 2017 mengantongi sebesar 5,059 juta dolar AS.

 

"Perolehan tersebut dibandingkan dengan bulan yang sama tahun sebelumnya juga meningkat 5,723 juta dolar AS atau 61,94 persen, karena pengapalan hasil sentuhan tangan-tangan terampil perajin Bali itu pada bulan Mei 2016 menyumbangkan sebesar 3,846 juta dolar AS," kata Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Bali, Adi Nugroho di Denpasar, Rabu (12/7/2017)

 

Ia mengatakan, pakaian jadi bukan rajutan hasil usaha kecil skala rumah tangga itu mampu memberikan andil sebesar 12,25 persen dari total ekspor Bali sebesar 50,84 juta dolar AS selama bulan Mei 2017, meningkat 26,84 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya yang tercatat 40,082 juta dolar AS.

 

Pasaran Amerika Serikat menyerap paling banyak pakaian jadi bukan rajutan tersebut yakni 24,23 persen, menyusul Singapura 11,08 persen, Australia 8,87 persen, Hongkong 6,91 persen dan Perancis 6,27 persen.

 

Selain itu juga menjangkau pasaran Jepang 2,31 persen, China 0,68 persen, Jerman 1,15 persen, Belanda 1,27 persen, Spanyol 5,73 persen dan 31,19 persen sisanya menembus ke berbagai negara lainnya di belahan dunia.

 

Adi Nugroho menambahkan, pakaian jadi yang diperdagangkan ke luar negeri itu bukan produksi pabrik, namun dibuat secara manual sehingga memiliki nilai lebih bagi konsumen luar negeri, terutama dari Amerika Serikat, Singapura dan Australia yang selama ini paling banyak membelinya.

 

Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Bali melakukan pelatihan desain melibatkan perajin maupun usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) sebagai upaya meningkatkan perolehan ekspor non migas daerah ini.

 

Kegiatan tersebut menyangkut 13 jenis pelatihan menekankan upaya meningkatkan rancang bangun (desain) berbagai jenis produk unggulan daerah ini, termasuk usaha tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT).

 

Upaya itu dengan melakukan pendampingan tenaga ahli perancang busana (desainer) untuk perajin usaha tenun. Hal itu dilakukan dengan melaksanakan lima jenis pelatihan yakni pelatihan disain dan diversifikasi produk tenun, pencelupan benang sutra, tenun endek dan kerajinan tenun songket.
