The Indonesian Synthetic Fiber Producers Association (APSyFI) is requesting the Fiscal Policy Office (BKF) and the National Interesting Consideration Team (TPKN) to be firm against those trying to influence the dumping decisions issued by the Indonesian Anti Dumping Commission (KADI).

APSyFI Secretary General, Redma Gita Wirawasta, expressed his astonishment why KADI's dumping decision on foreign firms conducting fraudulent trade practices is often 'crude' in PKN. As a result, BKF can not issue details of dumping duties that must be charged to the company.

Redma asserted, the flood of imported products in the Indonesian market should also be wary of the practice of cheating or dumping trade. As it turns out, there are some overseas companies that commit fraudulent or dumping practices.

APSyFI itself experienced that condition. Therefore, the association supports KADI to recommend Anti Dumping Import Duty (BMAD) on import dumping products that are found to be detrimental to local industries.

"Foreign industries that commit fraudulent trades must be subject to BMAD," said Redma Gita Wirawasta, in Jakarta, where we are tolerating the fraudulent trade practices perpetrated by the exporters of the accused countries in our domestic market, seat encountered in his office.

This condition will result in the collapse of all industries in this sector to disrupt the supply-chain in the textile industry structure (in particular) as a whole.

His side has several times filed an anti dumping petition to KADI, but several times also hampered in the National Interest Interesting Team (TPKN) and in the Ministry of Finance.

While in KADI based on investigation and investigation results, it was clear that there was a dumping practice that was detrimental to the domestic industry, but often when this result was submitted to TPKN, the recommendation decision was countered.
