Indonesia Textile Industry Growth Reaches 12.3 Billion US Dollar PDF Print E-mail

The Indonesian Textile Association believes that the growth of Indonesia's textile industry in 2017 could reach four to five percent, targeting textile sales and exports with a target of 12.3 billion US dollars.

 

The Indonesian Textile Association believes that the export growth of textile and textile products this year could reach US $ 12.3 billion.

 

Ade Sudrajat, Chair of the Indonesian Textile Association (API), is optimistic that the export growth target of textile and textile products (TPT) in 2017 will be in line with the improvement in the third quarter.

 

Previously TPT industry targeted growth of about 4% to 5% compared to 2016 sales which reached US $ 11.8 billion. "In fact, textile exports in 2011 have reached US $ 13 billion, but continue to fall until 2016. TPT industry should be able to momentum growth momentum that occurred this year," said Ade.

 

According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, textile industry exports from January to August reached US $ 3.05 billion, while exports for apparel industry in the same period amounted to US $ 5.30 billion. BPS noted that the number of textile industry exports in the first 8 months of this year reached US $ 8.35 billion.

 

Ade counts TPT export sales until August 2017 less than US $ 9 billion. He said that export sales in the last 3 months is predicted to reach US $ 3 billion to US $ 4 billion. "In August compared with July sales of TPT positive, even the product could be double digits," he added.

 

BPS recorded export sales of the textile industry in August 2017 reached US $ 435 million, an increase of 5.03% compared to July of US $ 414 million. The export sales of the apparel industry in August this year reached US $ 810 million, up 16.60% compared to the previous month of US $ 695 million.

 

This increase thanks to the successful relocation of manufacturers to the region that supports the efficiency of the flow of the company. The expansion by Pan Brothers to Central Java has paid off.

 

 

 

Pertumbuhan Industri Tekstil Indonesia Capai 12,3 Miliar Dollar AS

 

 

Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia menilai pertumbuhan industri tekstil Indonesia pada 2017 mampu mencapai empat sampai lima persen, seiring dengan meningkatnya penjualan dan ekspor tekstil dengan target mencapai 12,3 miliar dollar AS.

Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia menilai pertumbuhan ekspor industri tekstil dan produk tekstil pada tahun ini dapat mencapai US$12,3 miliar.

 

Ade Sudrajat, Ketua Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API), optimistis target pertumbuhan ekspor industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) pada 2017 tercapai seiring dengan perbaikan penjualan pada kuartal III.

 

Sebelumnya industri TPT membidik pertumbuhan sekitar 4% hingga 5% dibandingkan dengan nilai penjualan 2016 yang mencapai US$11,8 miliar. "Sebenarnya ekspor tekstil pada 2011 sudah mencapai US$13 miliar, tetapi terus turun sampai 2016. Industri TPT harus dapat menangkap momentum pertumbuhan yang terjadi tahun ini," kata Ade

 

Menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), ekspor industri tekstil periode Januari—Agustus mencapai US$3,05 miliar, sedangkan ekspor untuk industri pakaian jadi pada periode yang sama tercatat sebanyak US$5,30 miliar. BPS mencatat jumlah ekspor industri TPT pada 8 bulan pertama tahun ini mencapai US$8,35 miliar.

 

Ade menghitung penjualan ekspor TPT sampai dengan Agustus 2017 kurang dari US$9 miliar. Dia menilai penjualan ekspor pada 3 bulan terakhir ini diprediksi mencapai US$3 miliar hingga US$4 miliar. "Pada Agustus dibandingkan dengan Juli penjualan TPT positif, bahkan produk jadi bisa mencapai dua digit," imbuhnya.

 

BPS mencatat penjualan ekspor industri tekstil pada Agustus 2017 mencapai US$435 juta atau meningkat 5,03% dibandingkan dengan Juli sebanyak US$414 juta. Penjualan ekspor industri pakaian jadi pada Agustus tahun ini mencapai US$810 juta, naik 16,60% dibandingkan dengan bulan sebelumnya sebanyak US$695 juta.

 

Kenaikan ini berkat keberhasilan relokasi pabrikan ke kawasan yang mendukung efisiensi terhadap pengeluaran perusahaan. Ekspansi yang dilakukan oleh Pan Brothers ke Jawa Tengah telah membuahkan hasil.
