Product TPT Product Competitiveness, SME Kemenkop Held Smesco Designer Parade 2017 PDF Print E-mail

In order to improve the competitiveness of national fashion products, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs held the Smesco Designer Parade 2017. This agenda is an event to promote, market and efforts to love and be proud of owning the local brand products and brands. With so expected textile and textile products (TPT) industry can continue to increase, especially from the export side.


Director of the Institute for Marketing Service of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (LLP-KUKM), Emilia Suhaimi, said fashion products are the largest contributor of creative industry exports with a total contribution of 61.13 percent or equivalent to 5.96 percent of the value of national exports. The average value of exports reached Rp53.94 trillion.


"In addition to increasing state revenues, this industry also has a positive value because it can absorb labor and the provision of national business fields," said Emilia


Through the agenda undertaken in collaboration with the Ethnic Designer Community (KDEI), various products with traditional ethnic style are widely displayed. This is a strength for the national textile products to increase its export market.


"In 2015, non-oil / non-gas exports have declined, while creative economy exports have strengthened, the fashion industry recorded the first position of creative economy export, 56 percent followed by crude 37 percent, culinary 6 percent and others 1 percent," he said.


In the special event of late 2017, present 31 designers in 40 designs of Muslim fashion and conventional partner Smesco Indonesia, including Raizal Boeyoeng Rais, Ida Leman, Jenny Tjahyawati, Nina Nugroho, Nita Seno Aji, Erdan and others. With the theme "Etnic", the designers present a wealth of diverse archipelago cloth originating from various regions in Indonesia.


"With the creative and innovative hands of SMEs in Indonedia, I am confident that I will be able to raise this noble cloth of Indonesia," said Ethnic Indonesia Designer Community Leader & Chairman of DEKRANAS Business Management, Bintang Puspayoga on the same occasion.


For information, the Smesco Designers Parade 2017 was organized with the support of the Young Designers' Association of Indonesia (APPMI), Indonesia Modest Fashion Designer (IMFD) and Komunitas Cinta Berkain Indonesia (KCBI). This event is also hosted to meyongsong Year End Sale 2017 which lasted from December 9 to 31 December 2017 at Smesco Indonesia.


Genjot Daya Saing Produk TPT, Kemenkop UKM Gelar Smesco Designer Parade 2017


Demi meningkatkan daya saing produk fesyen nasional, Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM mengadakan Smesco Designer Parade 2017. Agenda ini merupakan ajang untuk mempromosikan, memasarkan dan upaya untuk mencintai dan bangga memiliki produk dan brand (merk) lokal anak bangsa. Dengan begitu diharapkan industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) dapat terus meningkat terutama dari sisi ekspor.


Direktur Utama Lembaga Layanan Pemasaran Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (LLP-KUKM), Emilia Suhaimi mengatakan, produk fashion merupakan penyumbang terbesar ekspor industri kreatif dengan total kontribusi mencapai 61,13 persen atau setara dengan 5,96 persen dari nilai ekspor nasional. Rata-rata nilai ekspornya mencapai Rp53,94 triliun.


“Selain meningkatkan pendapatan negara, industri ini juga memiliki nilai positif karena dapat menyerap tenaga kerja dan penyediaan lapangan usaha nasional," papar Emilia


Melalui agenda yang dilaksanakan bekerja sama dengan Komunitas Designer Etnik (KDEI) ini, berbagai produk dengan gaya ethnic tradisional banyak ditampilkan. Hal ini menjadi kekuatan tersendiri bagi produk TPT nasional untuk dapat meningkatkan pasar ekspornya.


“Pada tahun 2015 ekspor non migas mengalami penurunan, meski demikian sebaliknya ekspor ekonomi kreatif mengalami penguatan, industri fesyen tercatat menempati posisi pertama ekspor ekonomi kreatif yaitu 56 persen diikuti oleh kriya 37 persen, kuliner 6 persen dan lainnya 1 persen,” katanya.


Dalam perhelatan spesial akhir tahun 2017 ini, menghadirkan 31 designer dalam 40 rancangan busana muslim dan konvensional mitra Smesco Indonesia, diantaranya Raizal Boeyoeng Rais, Ida  Leman, Jenny Tjahyawati, Nina Nugroho, Nita Seno Aji, Erdan dan lain-lain. Dengan tema “Etnic”, para designer menghadirkan kekayaan ragam kain nusantara yang berasal dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia.


"Dengan tangan kreatif dan inovatif para pelaku UKM di Indonedia, saya yakin bisa mengangkat kain nusantara yang merupakan adiluhung ini. Indonesia sangat kaya dengan kerajinan dari berbagai daerah, kita harus bangga," kata Pembina Komunitas Desainer Ethnic Indonesia & Ketua Bidang manajemen Usaha DEKRANAS, Bintang Puspayoga dalam kesempatan yang sama.


Sebagai informasi, Smesco Designers Parade 2017 diselenggarakan atas dukungan Asosiasi Pengusaha Perancang Muda Indonesia (APPMI), Indonesia Modest Fashion Designer (IMFD) dan Komunitas Cinta Berkain Indonesia (KCBI). Acara ini juga disemarakan untuk meyongsong tahun baru Year End Sale 2017 yang berlangsung dari tanggal 9 sampai 31 Desember 2017 di Smesco Indonesia.
