Exports of textiles and textile products are targeting to reach 33.5 billion USD by 2018 PDF Print E-mail

In 2017, Vietnamese textiles and textile products achieved double-digit growth and reached its target of 31 billion USD. The United States remains the number one market for Vietnamese textiles with a total export value of 12.53 billion USD.


Other potential markets of the European Union, Japan, Republic of Korea have also achieved positive results. Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Textile and Textile Products Association of Vietnam, said: "Production must be in line with the development of technology and brand development, as it brings this brand business to the world market.


We must be the owner of modern technology development, technology 4.0, bringing the Vietnamese brand to the world market. The direction is clear and creates dynamics with the assistance of the State on stable policies and mechanisms for business entities to quietly invest in developing industry branches, to ensure future sustainability. "


By 2018, the textile and textile products branch of Vietnam is targeting to reach an export value of 33.5 billion USD.



Ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil menargetkan mencapai 33,5 miliar USD pada tahun 2018


Pada tahun 2017, tekstil dan produk tekstil Vietnam mencapai pertumbuhan 2 digit dan mencapai targetnya dengan 31 miliar USD. Amerika Serikat tetap menjadi pasar nomor satu bagi tekstil Vietnam dengan total nilai ekspor sebanyak 12,53 miliar USD.

Pasar-pasar potensial yang lain yaitu Uni Eropa,  Jepang, Republik Korea juga mencapai hasil-hasil yang positif. Ketua Asosiasi Tekstil dan produk Tekstil Vietnam, Vu Duc Giang mengatakan: “Produksi harus seiring dengan pengembangan teknologi dan pengembangan brand, seiring dengan membawa usaha brand ini ke pasar dunia.


Kita harus menjadi pemilik teknologi pengembangan modern, teknologi 4.0, membawa brand Vietnam ke pasar dunia. Arahnya sudah jelas dan menciptakan dinamika dengan bantuan dari  Negara tentang kebijakan dan mekanisme yang stabil agar badan-badan usaha tenang melakukan investasi untuk mengembangkan cabang industri, untuk menjamin keberkesinambungan pada masa depan.”


Pada tahun 2018, cabang tekstil dan produk tekstil Vietnam menargetkan mencapai nilai ekspor senilai 33,5 miliar USD.
