Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudrajat predicts that textile and textile product sales this year will rise. The reason, every time entering the political year of t-shirt demand for the campaign will increase.

 

 

"The simultaneous Pilkada activity this year will boost sales to 10 percent, because all candidates will need t-shirts for their camps," he said.

 

He hopes, high demand t-shirts can provide fresh breath for textile entrepreneurs. Therefore, domestic sales last year was less greget.

 

In the past year, API recorded domestic textile sales reached only Rp 90 trillion. The number decreased compared to the previous year's sales which reached Rp 105 trillion. Penuarrunan caused by weak purchasing power.

 

According to Ade, entrepreneurs are helped by export sales that rose 5 percent from 11.8 billion dollars to 12.4 billion dollars. "This is because the results of plant relocation to Central Java so that our competitiveness strengthens," he said.

 

Ketum Association of Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs (Aprindo) Roy Mandey said political activities in 2018 became one of the positive factors for the retail industry. Campaign activities will help the successful team spend substantial budgets.

 

He is optimistic, the condition will excite retail business. Therefore, activities related to the campaign can contribute to shopping activities in retail stores. "This is what we see as a chance, a chance for this year because of the large number of pilkada," he said.

 

Ketum Association of Indonesian Entrepreneurs (Apindo) Hariya ¬ in Sukamdani considered that this year's democracy party is more conciliatory than 2017. "As retail industry starts to rise, and we expect in 2018 that politics will be very small," he said.

 

Hariyadi rate, the political climate will be conducive. Because of this year's pilkada, there is no controversial toxicity that could trigger political atmosphere to divide the society. According to him, unstable political conditions such as last year are more negative for middle class.

 

In fact, continued Hariyadi, the middle class became one of the pedestals to drive the business in the field of retail. Last year they tended to hold on to them because of the unfriendly political conditions.

 

Executive General Manager of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) Fransiscus Soerjopranoto hopes, with the Pilkada will simultaneously increase sales of Toyota cars.

 

"We are targeting the same sales as last year, but with the Pilkada we hope to be more," he said.

 

Menjelang Pemilihan Umum Permintaan Tekstil akan Meningkat

 

Ketua Umum Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API) Ade Sudrajat memprediksi, penjualan tekstil dan produk tekstil tahun ini akan naik. Pasalnya, setiap masuki tahun politik per¬mintaan kaos untuk kampanye akan meningkat.

"Kegiatan Pilkada serentak tahun ini akan mendongkrak penjualan sampai 10 persen. karena semua calon pasti mem¬butuhkan kaos untuk kampenya," ujarnya.

Dia berharap, tingginya per¬mintaan kaos dapat memberikan nafas segar bagi pengusaha tek¬stil. Sebab, penjualan domestik tahun lalu kurang greget.

 

Pada tahun lalu, API mencatat penjualan tekstil domestik hanya mencapai Rp 90 triliun. Angka menurun dibandingkan penjualan tahun sebelumnya yang mencapai Rp 105 triliun. Penurunan disebabkan oleh lemahnya daya beli masyarakat.

 

Menurut Ade, pengusaha ter¬tolong oleh penjualan ekspor yang naik 5 persen dari 11,8 miliar dolar AS menjadi 12,4 miliar dolar AS. "Ini karena hasil relokasi pabrik ke Jawa Tengah sehingga daya saing kita menguat," ujarnya.

 

Ketum Asosiasi Pengusaha Ritel Indonesia (Aprindo) Roy Mandey mengatakan, kegiatan politik di 2018 menjadi salah satu faktor positif bagi industri ritel. Kegiatan kampanye akan mendor¬ong tim sukses membelanjakan anggarannya cukup besar.

 

Dia optimis, kondisi tersebut bakal menggairahkan usaha ritel. Sebab, kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kampanye mampu mem¬beri kontribusi terhadap aktivitas belanja di toko ritel. "Ini yang kami lihat menjadi suatu pe¬luang, kesempatan untuk tahun ini karena adanya pilkada yang cukup banyak," tuturnya.

 

Ketum Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (Apindo) Hariya¬di Sukamdani menilai, pesta demokrasi tahun ini lebih kon¬dusif ketimbang 2017. "Seperti¬nya industri ritel mulai bangkit, dan nanti kami perkirakan di 2018 politik itu pengaruhnya sangat kecil," ujarnya.

 

Hariyadi menilai, iklim politik akan kondusif. Karena pada pilkada tahun ini, tidak ada to¬koh kontroversial yang berpo¬tensi menyulut atmospir politik hingga mampu memecah-belah masyarakat. Menurutnya, kondisi politik yang tidak stabil seperti tahun lalu lebih berimbas negatif bagi kalangan kelas menengah.

 

Padahal, lanjut Hariyadi, kelas menengah menjadi salah satu tumpuan untuk menggerakkan bisnis di bidang ritel. Tahun lalu mereka cenderung menahan be¬lanja mengingat kondisi politik yang kurang bersahabat.

 

Executive General Manager PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) Fransiscus Soerjopranoto berharap, dengan adanya Pilkada serentak akan meningkatkan penjualan mobil Toyota.

 

"Kita targetkan penjualan sama dengan tahun lalu. Namun, dengan adanya Pilkada kita ber¬harap bisa lebih," ujarnya.
