Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Los Angeles with Unionwell participated in Agenda Show 2018 held on 4-5 January in Long Beach, California, United States (US). Agenda Show is a fashion show of the prestigious street style (streetwear) prestigious and durable that has been going on since 2013.

 

"Indonesia's participation in the Agenda Show is an effort to open market penetration opportunities in the US, especially California, for Unionwell and other independent fashion brands from Indonesia," said ITPC Los Angeles Head Antonius Budiman.

 

Agenda Show, continued Anton, is a gathering place for buyers, business actors, investors, distributors, and media from various parts of the world to build cooperation and business. Agenda Show ramaidik visit young people from diverse backgrounds, such as designers, software developers, automotive lovers, and skateboarders.

 

"Market observations show that products that represent aesthetics, style, and culture of resistance are products that mimic the trend of pop culture mode for millennial generation.The millennial generation is a fashion fan of streetwear and California is a potential market for such products," Anton explained.

 

Unionwell is an Indonesian product that sells a variety of fashion street clothes with distinctive Indonesian accents that are packaged vintage to make Unionwell different from other similar products on the market. In Agenda Show, Unionwell entered the "The Woods" segment which focused on craftsmanship and emerging trends. Unionwell's products are a fashion product with added value designed by young Indonesians.

 

The presence of Unionwell at Agenda Show 2018 successfully attracted the attention of independent brands and other major brands, including Carhartt, Eno, Chinese Laundry, Clarks, Supra, and Toms. Unionwell also managed to hook up 25 potential buyers, including major retail buyers TJX Companies like T.J. Maxx and Marshalls.

 

Textile and textile products (TPT) are Indonesia's main exports to the US which record export value of about US $ 4.1 billion in 2017. Indonesia's main competitors for textile products are China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Honduras and El Salvador.

 

Fesyen Indonesia Partisipasi di Agenda Show Amerika

 

Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Los Angeles bersama Unionwell berpartisipasi dalam Agenda Show 2018 yang diselenggarakan pada 4-5 Januari di Long Beach, California, Amerika Serikat (AS). Agenda Show merupakan pameran fesyen gaya khas jalanan (streetwear) bergengsi dan terkurasi yang sudah berlangsung sejak tahun 2013.

 

"Partisipasi Indonesia dalam Agenda Show merupakan upaya membuka peluang penetrasi pasar di AS,khususnya California, bagi Unionwell maupun fesyen merek independen lainnya dari Indonesia," jelas Kepala ITPC Los Angeles, Antonius Budiman.

 

Agenda Show, lanjut Anton, merupakan tempat berkumpul para buyer, pelaku usaha, investor, distributor,serta media dari berbagai belahan dunia untuk membangun kerja sama dan bisnis. Agenda Show ramaidikunjungi anak muda dari beragam latar belakang, seperti desainer, pengembang perangkat lunak, pecinta automotif, dan pemain papan seluncur.

 

"Pengamatan pasar menunjukkan bahwa produk-produk yang merepresentasikan estetika, gaya, dan budaya perlawanan adalah produk yang menjadi kiblat tren mode budaya pop bagi generasi milenial. Generasi milenialadalah penggemar fesyen streetwear dan California adalah pasar potensial untuk produk tersebut,"jelas Anton.

 

Unionwell merupakan produk Indonesia yang menjual berbagai macam mode pakaian jalanan dengan aksen khas Indonesia yang dikemas secara vintage sehingga membuat Unionwell berbeda dengan produk semacam lainnya di pasaran. Dalam Agenda Show, Unionwell masuk dalam segmen “The Woods" yang difokuskan padacraftsmanship dan emerging trends.Produk-produk Unionwell merupakan produk fesyen dengan nilai tambah yang didesain oleh anak muda Indonesia.

 

Kehadiran Unionwell di Agenda Show 2018 sukses menarik perhatian merek independen maupun merek besar lainnya, termasuk Carhartt, Eno, Chinese Laundry, Clarks, Supra, dan Toms. Unionwell juga berhasil menggaet 25 buyer potensial, termasuk buyer retail besar TJX Companies seperti T.J. Maxx dan Marshalls.

 

Tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) merupakan ekspor utama Indonesia ke AS yang mencatatkan nilai ekspor sekitar US$ 4,1 miliar di tahun 2017. Pesaing utama Indonesia untuk produk TPT adalah China, Vietnam, Bangladesh,Honduras, dan El Salvador.
