Indonesian Ambassador: Indonesia-Iran Trade Balance Continues to Increase PDF Print E-mail

The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Iran, Oktavino Alimudin, hopes the trade balance between Indonesia and the Islamic State of Iran could continue to increase. Total value of trade to Iran until the end of 2017 rose 167.51 percent compared to 2016 ago.

 

Various commodities from Indonesia are entering the biggest Iran, namely palm oil. Other commodities, namely paper, textile, autopart, electronics, coffee to household appliances. "The potential of palm oil here (Iran) is quite large," said Ambassador Oktavino on the sidelines of dinner at a lesehan style restaurant in Tehran, Iran

 

According to him, the potential for cooperation under discussion is the cultivation of oil mines. "Pertamina has a meeting with related parties in Iran," he said.

 

He did not dismiss if textile exports into its own potential for Indonesia. According to him, Muslim clothes ranging from veils, veils and others can enter as a mainstay commodity for export to Iran.

 

Meanwhile, the export of Iran to Indonesia, among others, ranging from iron, aluminum, to nuts. "We are confident that the second trade balance will increase, especially for Indonesia," he said

 

Dubes RI: Neraca Perdagangan Indonesia-Iran Terus Meningkat

 

Duta Besar Republik Indonesia untuk Iran, Oktavino Alimudin, berharap neraca perdagangan antara Indonesia dan Negara Islam Iran bisa terus meningkat. Total nilai perdagangan ke Iran hingga akhir tahun 2017 naik 167,51 persen dibandingkan tahun 2016 lalu. 

 

Berbagai komoditas dari Indonesia yang masuk ke Iran terbesar, yakni minyak sawit. komoditas lainnya, yakni kertas, tekstil, autopart, elektronik, kopi hingga peralatan rumah tangga. " Potensi palm oil ke sini (Iran) cukup besar," ujar Dubes Oktavino di sela makan malam di sebuah resto gaya lesehan di Teheran, Iran

 

Menurutnya, potensi kerja sama yang tengah dibahas penggarapannya yakni pengelolaan tambang minyak. "Pertamina sudah melakukan pertemuan dengan pihak terkait di Iran," ujarnya.

 

Dia tak menampik jika ekspor tekstil menjadi potensi tersendiri bagi Indonesia. Menurutnya baju Muslim mulai dari kerudung, jilbab dan lainnya bisa masuk sebagai komoditas andalan bagi ekspor ke Iran.

 

Sementara itu, ekspor Iran ke Indonesia antara lain mulai dari besi, alumunium,  hingga kacang-kacangan. "Kami yakin neraca perdagangan keduabelah pihak akan meningkat, khususnya bagi Indonesia," ujarnya
