The Ministry of Industry encourages the acceleration of Human Resources (HR) in the chemical industry, textile and miscellaneous (IKTA), Monday (12/3/2018). This was disclosed by Director General of IKTA Ministry of Industry Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono while visiting the Campus of TPT Academy of Surakarta

"The breakthrough program of the minister of industry where we are experiencing scarcity of human resources, especially in the textile industry," he said Monday (12/3/2018) afternoon.

Achmad also explained that currently in Boyolali district is experiencing difficulties for human resources in the textile industry sector.

"So the ministry of industry encourages the acceleration of human resources, especially new investments in the textile industry," he said. This year, the textile industry grew by 3.45% this year.

"So this is a stepping stone that was -1 we were able to grow 3.45%," he said. The growth of this textile industry must be maintained with the preparation of human resources currently being undertaken.

ASSOCIATION Textile Indonesia (API) itself targets the growth of Indonesia's textile industry in the second half of this year to increase 5 percent. The growth of the second semester is considered to be much better than the first semester.

Currently the value of textile imports is still very high because consumer demand for textile products for the new school year and Lebaran is also high.

"This achievement is driven by the rise of investment and expansion in the strategic sector," he said.
